Davie , The ladies love your soft spoken scottish accent , and those flies looks so easy to tie . A true ambassador to fishing . Outstanding work ,enjoy your life 's passion and thank you for sharing .
Beautiful fly. I didn't know it existed. Be sure I'll tie a few for our local trout and landlocked. Single hook. It's good to hear my name pronounced properly. Thank you Davie
Great looking little fly there mate. Yes I would like to see you do a green highlander. The way you do it my friend.
Best Regards, Ken
Love it Davie ill be trying it cheers
Could you tie a green highlander davie
very nicely tied davie ,i'v ran out of yellow bristle so I tyed it with orange looks ok wonder if it would do with orange squirrel in the wing ? great looking fly thanks again davie.
Hi George B,
I would say Orange and Yellow Pig Bristle are the two most used colours in many of the flies I tye with this hair so I would say that it would certainly be a good choice as well as the orange squirrel...
All the very best Davie
muy buena 👏
Hi Davie, a technical question: we must tie the throat BEFORE the wing? Always? If yes, why?
Hi Diego,
It's up to you as it will make no difference to this fly if you tye the wing on before the throat...
All the very best Davie
Hello from Russia! Davy, the names for the flies you make up? Or do they have their own history?
Hi dayarchik,
The Munro Killer is the name of this fly though I did add the pig bristle so I added this to the name. I would say most of the flies i've filmed have their original names although I will name a pattern to suit where I have came across the pattern and the remainder I named mainly to suit the dressing..
All the very best from Scotland...
Pig Bristle? Wonder where can I get some? Lovely fly
Hi Bob,
I have attached a link to where I bought the pig bristles from and I'm glad you liked the fly..
All the very best Davie

Do you ever use fake hair or craft fur
Hi Bob,
I have used fake hair/craft fur but mostly on saltwater flies though it will work on salmon flies as well for sure..Stay safe..
All the very best Davie
