But, to be digging in those long boxes and then unexpectedly, there it is, that beloved comic that you have been on the hunt for possibly years. You know the feeling. Its great. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve

Hello, and thank you for the kind words. I hope you can experience the Baltimore Con. Its a true comic con. Such a blast. Next year is October 28, 29 and 30th. I hope you are able to make it. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve
So glad you had a great time. You always pick gems. My favorite is the Heriocs issue. I have that issue but the Hydraman story is just too short. I was reading Blue Devil off the newsstands also. DC was putting out great new titles between 1980 - 1984. Take care brother.
Greetings, Mike. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Kind words that are greatly appreciated. The Hydroman was short but enjoyable nonetheless. I wonder if they became longer in later issues. Of course, the art was awesome. Its one of my favorite Hydroman covers too the blue background makes everything pop. I hope to finish the Blue Beetle and Blue Devil run vey soon. Thanks again for commenting, Mike. Its great to read your comments. Take care and stay well my friend. Best\Steve
Enjoyed seeing the older books. You always post comics that I have never seen that I end up adding to my list. Glad to hear you had a good time at Baltimore.
Greetings and thank you for the kind words and stopping by. One of the reasons I like watch the Comic Book Community TH-cam videos is seeing comics that I normally would not see or is not on my radar. And, like you end up on my list. This is such a great community. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve
Good to see you back! I didn't know that the Baltimore Comic Con was this past weekend. Darn! It slipped past me. I'm glad that you had a good time. Thank you for the video!
Thank you my friend. And, thank you for coming by and commenting. Sorry, that you missed the con it this year. Next year is October 28, 29 and 30th. Thank you for the kind words. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve

Jambo! Whats up buddy? Thank you for stopping by and the kind words. I feel that it was a successful con for me. I found stuff that I was looking for awhile. This hobby is so great and going to a con like Baltimore, you never know what you will fin. It was great. Take care my friend and stay well. Best/Steve
Great Haul .A friend of mine who I do the Comic Book Retrospectives with, Joe Corallo was talking about how much fun the Baltimore Con was . He's a current Comic Book Writer (BECSTAR) and knows most of the new and older Pros , and was hanging out with them . I told him that while that may be impressive , the Con was represented by a Member of The Four Color Fossils 😁
Hey Eric, great to hear from you. Thank you for the cool comment. I represent the FCF when I can😉. I need to check out BECSTAR .Thank you for coming by and commenting. Take care buddy. See you on the FCF stream. Best/Steve
😎👍 Two fun reading comic strips Steve, Bronco Bill and Reg'lar Fellers (Heroic Comics). Speaking of Heroic Bill Everett's Hydro Man shares the same appeal as Ogden Whitney's Skyman. Saw Steve Conley's AST on Shannon's show and commented to Shannon that Roy Crane was a definite influence. There's a splash page in the 2nd AST where two characters resembling Wash Tubbs and Captain Easy are running that is an unmistakable reference to Roy Crane. Charlton and Dick Giordano always a great addition to any collection. Really enjoyed Keith Giffen on Dr Fate. 😄Your next commission will probably be Smilin' Jack.
Greetings Anthony. I really enjoyed the Heroic Comics #4. Loved reading all those features. A lot of great classic stuff there. Although, I have only one original Skyman comic book, I am a big Skyman fan.I have read bunch of reprints from AC. Love the look and style of the character. I have a wonderful Bob McLeod commission of Skyman. You have a good eye! I'll have to ask Steve about that. Sounds about right. Steve is a fan of classic comic art and the artists. Yes, I was hoping to get a commission from John K Snyder III this year but he cancelled. It would have been Blackhawk and Smilin' Jack back to back with their respective aircraft in the background. Oh, well next year. Thank you for coming by and commenting. Always interesting and informative. Take care, Anthony and stay well. Best/Steve
Thank you and thank you for coming by and commenting. These books are not that common, especially, in a grade like that. And, to think, I ONLY need 7 issues to complete the run. It will be awhile. But, I'm patient. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve
Great haul and video Steve! The Baltimore show sounds like so much fun..Outstanding books and art pieces! Loved all those Charlton beauties but ESPECIALLY the Space Adventures #25..Which is now going on my list..Fantastic commissions! Loved them all but especially the Dynamo piece..That Dr. Fate mini is one of my absolute favorites and those 80's runs of DF, Blue Beetle and Blue Devil are as you said, pure unpretentious superhero fun..I really loved seeing all your Steve Conley books..I thoroughly enjoyed the AST''s you sent me ..Sounds like I might need to come hang our with you in Baltimore sometime😉Thanks for sharing buddy!
Hey Shannon. Thank you for the comments. It would be great to hang out with at Baltimore sometime. We would have a blast talking, looking at and buying funny books. So much there for collectors like us. We really need to make some definite plans for this to happen at some point. Thank you again for the comment and stopping by. Take care and stay well my friend. Best/Steve
Lots of cool art + comics mate, gotta love them Blue Beetle/Devil comics. Cool to see your pick ups an tales from the Con. I am not too aware of the artist you spoke about with the book, so I won't put my name in the hat for that, I am in the UK anyway so not worth the postage. Enjoy your books mate
Hello my friend. Thank you for coming by and commenting. I always enjoy reading what you have to say. Thank you for the kind words as always. I know that the Blue Beetle and Blue Devil would be up your alley. I still need some issues form each run to complete the series. Thank you again for stopping by. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve

Love the Doc Savage Vs The Master commission. I'm guessing Doc didn't have much trouble dispatching Torgo. You seem to be in high def in this video. I prefer the Kinescope Charlton 66! Sounds like you had a blast.
LOL, yes, Torgo was nothing but a nuisance. Monk took out that dope! My wife got me a ring light. That's why the video looked the way it did. I did have a blast at the con. Thank you for coming by once again and commenting. I always enjoy in what you have to say. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve
