I like giving my guardsmen camoflagued uniforms. So one easy way to add a bit more spice is you put a small blob of greenstuff on the helmet and then put some thin folds and slight creases in it to make a canoflagued cloth cover for the helmet. I also sometimes use a bigger blob and cut up and mangle the green stuff a bit so it looks like a cover of camoflagued cloth strips.

Greenstuff strap is a great idea. Next time i make up too much greenstuff up i will make a heap of straps for all my guardsmen with their magically adhesive weaponry!
Some very useful ideas here, gonna implement some of them like 9:45 (grenade throwing guy). I also love the wounded guy, very cool, I ll try to modify him a bit more and make him my commander. I already have the kneeling melta guy ^^
I have. It isn't finished being painted yet but I made one where it's the standard tucked into the shoulder arm holding the flag, tilted it back so the flag was draping down the back a bit, and then kitbashed it into the cool wide leg stance and harsh environment mask head too.

@@CadianSergeantSteel I noticed that GW has done some tweaking to the really really new bayonet models. They have some grooves that allow for easier, centric gluing but the old models were just plain old knives that would sometimes stick on without actually running parallel to the barrel.
I didn't have the problem but... you raise a good point which is probably the need to indentify and consider the centroid of a model before putting it on a base. I'm guessing this was one of the running poses?

Hey cadian, i was wondering if you had a tutorial on how you do eyes? Like specifically the iris and pupil. Mine are xoming out kinda manic.

Revell make a very good glue with the tube applicator, my glue of choice 😊
I like the GW glue too but the one I got the metal tub didn't work. 😂

Not in this case. I haven't cut anything off that sprue yet BUT... it could be from the Field Ordnance Battery or Command Squad kit.

I trimmed the little strap ring at the front and it fit really well.
