    Nice first impression. It blows Holly out of the water.
    One will soon be finding a home under the hood of the 80 D350 Club cab.
    It really didn't need any music accompaniment. More than enough information big talked about it didn't need to be in competition
    With background noise.

      It is a vast improvement over the factory TBI. We are still working a few tuning kinks out, but we are liking the system so far!

      @trentdawg2832 One of the biggest issues we had was an exhaust leak at the header flange that was messing with the O2 sensor. Once we fixed that, it really started coming together with the self tuning.

    Great video. I just ordered the kill shot for my SBC. After setting your balancer 15 degrees BTDC do you point your rotor at #1 cylinder when installing the distributor? Then align your reluctor wheel with the pickup?

    • @FullThrottlePerformanceMike
      @FullThrottlePerformanceMike  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep. To be honest with you, the distributor was the toughest part of the whole process. I'm am not a timing master and the instructions confused me more than once.

    Can the killshot be used without a fuel return line?

    • @FullThrottlePerformanceMike
      @FullThrottlePerformanceMike  24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes it can be. It's recommended to run a return but it can be dead headed.

    Are you still happy wirh the Killshot? I’m currently looking at getting it. I don’t want to pay extra for the Holley name

    • @FullThrottlePerformanceMike
      @FullThrottlePerformanceMike  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As of now we really like we haven't got a ton of drive time on it. And the car is currently tore down to add a turbo over the winter. I think that 90% of all the issues people have are install errors, exhaust leaks, and unreasonable expectations for what "self tuning" can do. You should expect to have to do some tuning before the self learn can take over. Unless you are on a 100% stock motor. Use my promo code and save 10%

  • @hackettbr1

    Any way to install with a stock distributor? So it reads rpms, dont have the budget for timing control yet

    • @FullThrottlePerformanceMike

      So, as far as i understand it, you can use your stock/aftermarket distributor to run the timing. However, it will be controlled by your weights or your ignition box. You can always upgrade later to have Ace's control it all

    id-10-t questions.....installing this same system on a trifive with sbc out of a 70 vette....when you dropped the distributor into the motor did you have to get the rotor pointing in the vicinity of #1? Also, how how did you find #1 on the cap to get the wires in the correct order?

    • @FullThrottlePerformanceMike

      You want to rotate the motor over to 15 degrees BTDC before you install the new distributor. You can have the number 1 plug wire pointing in any direction as long as you know where that location is. It normally is pointed forward just towards the drivers side. If the distributor doesn't drop in where you want it you will have to get a long flat head screw driver, sick it in the distributor hole and rotate the oil pump slightly. Until the distributor will drop in in the correct location.

    • @RickBorland-uy1di

      @@FullThrottlePerformanceMike Thank you for the reply. After getting the motor set @ 15 degrees BTDC, when I dropped the distributor back in, the rotor was was pointing almost straight ahead, not towards #1. Do I need the keep adjusting until I get the damn thing pointed more towards #1?

    • @FullThrottlePerformanceMike

      @RickBorland-uy1di yea sound like your off a tooth. Spin the oil pump back like an 1/8 of a turn and try dropping in the distributor

    Imagine removing the tbi system n installing a fully tunable control by Bluetooth modern tbi system. Win, don't be like those idiots that go from tbi to carb.

    • @FullThrottlePerformanceMike

      To be honest, before the aces guys reached out to use that was the plan or maybe TPI. This is 100% better than TPI it's tunable and flows way better than late 80s technology. But this is a car being built on a 15 year old kids' budget, which is almost nothing, haha.
