A Blizzard Snowshoeing Backpacking Adventure / Journey back to the Truck (4k)

Day 2 and woke up to alot more snow than expecting! Was slow going breaking trail, bit made it through with some complaints haha

Oh man! I've been strongly considering a Porkies winter trip. It's quite the drive for me so I've been doing as much research as possible. Thinking something like a night at the yurt near the ski hill, hike to LOTC, camp somewhere past there, and take Govt Peak back to the xc ski trails and back up to the yurt for the final night. Would love to check out your itinerary/ trip log if you have one posted somewhere. Awesome vid, subbed!

@LoveatFirstHike if you have Instagram, ive got both my trips into the porkies on there. As for maps I'm sure they are still in garmin app..
First trip snowshowed like 17 miles in 2 days, from ski hill to LOTC mostly on snowmobile trail.
Second trip (these videos) got to park a mile before LOTC. Hiked 5ish miles into government peak during snowstorm. Then snowshoe out took alot longer haha.
I'm probably gonna start planning another trip up there for this winter yet.
