We recommend adding synthetic hair (for example X-pression, EZ Braid ) to braided foundations for more stability and color matching if using a different color than your natural hair color.
No, the foundation braids can be done normally (not too tight or a little loose). If its done a little loose, it wont last as long and most clients getting this done want to wear it up to the maximum amount of time (10 wks).
😮 and so thats how its done! 👍🏾 ✅ Thank you! for sharing this cant wait to try it 😊on myself! Will be purchasing the needle also 😊thank you so much for this god bless happy new year!🎊 🙏🏾❤️
Can you please show this with straight human hair? The reason is with the curly hair, you can more hide stitching VS. Straight hair I will love to see the method whereas how to hide stitching, which knot to use, etc. thanks in advance
This method has less tension on the scalp and doesn't require leave out or lace. check our video description. The needle is available at noircrochetneedles's website.
This process only effects the length by a few centimeters. It helps to use thinner wefts - such as hand tied wefts and genius wefts - to retain more length.

Can the foundation braids be too tight? Should they be a little loose for threading purposes

I know taking this down is a hassle!
We've posted a take down video. Check it out!
Why do you double the weft in the second method
Double weft is needed for all techniques of human hair crochet otherwise the hair is too thin to provide adequate coverage
Did you make this needle
No. These needles are by Noir Crochet Needles.
Will this not make the hair very short?

Too much work
