No no no no I should not watch this now 😂 I have too much to do, and knowing your videos this will make me run into the craftroom .... oh, who am I kidding *running into the craftroom grabbing watercolour, washi, and paper* WAIT FOR MEEEEEEE! 😂
In the month of November, I like to take time to think about the the things that make me grateful! I want you to know that you are one of my many blessings. I am thrilled to have found your channel and learned so much from you! You are an excellent teacher! You are a busy woman, and yet, you give generously of your time! I don’t have a channel, but have heard it takes a lot of time to edit and upload videos. The planning, prep time and clean up involved is yet another huge gift! Purchasing supplies is another! When I retired, I found TH-cam and have been trying to learn how to draw, and watercolor on my own through “free” classes like yours. Everything I tried that you posted for me has been a success and made me feel so good about my journey. You are an excellent teacher. I hope nothing discourages you, or dampens your generous spirit. God bless you Michelle. May you and your loved ones know great joy today and always. 🥰🥰 🥰🙏 🙏🙏
Wow. Thank you so very much for your kind words and encouragement. Nothing makes me more happy than to hear that people are learning some skills or inspired by my channel. Thank you again for sharing with us, have a wonderful day and have a great time being creative 😊
Michele, honestly, this was so much fun to watch you create these unique tree scapes. You definitely don't drive us nuts, you make us happy and the passion you have for doodling and painting shines through brightly. Your positive energy is contagious and I am looking forward to creating something like this. There's a magical feel to each one of these paintings. I enjoy all of your videos, but your sketches and paintings are my favorites. Thank you for such a fun tutorial.
It’s so annoying that I have to work today when all I want to do is grab my paints and have a go! I love your creativity and relaxed style Michele. You’ve really inspired me over the past months and I’ve had so much fun following your lead! Thank you❤
I have never painted in my life (I am more of a crafter) but I am drawn to abstract water colour. Your video was the first thing on my feed this am and I was hooked. Its exactly the type of painting I would like to try as a beginner. I love the scribbling, doodling aspect and how it's so free rather than precise. This suits my personality and lack of experience. I can't tell you how much this appeals to me. I have lots of old brushes too so it will be interesting to see the effect I get with these. You have made my day and soon I will have my own painted Xmas cards. I am also going to take them to my Cancer group. I can't wait to start. God Bless you for doing something so close to my heart. ❤
What a great idea for christmas cards, you are really a great artist,I do watercolour for several years but looking at your videos I am learning a lot , thank you 🥰
Trees are blue, I have a beautiful Colorado blue spuce. It's a green gray with definate blue undertones. There's so many incredible trees around the world even rainbow trees. Thanks for sharing your watercolors.
So many variations possible - I was imagining moons in skies, waterfalls and rapid rivers with the white pens....I have found that paint pens are less troublesome if they are stored flat in a tray rather than upright in pots as it seems to stop the nibs drying out between uses. We could also stamp some Christmas greetings on the pics (in gold?) for cards and gift tags...Thanks for all the ideas!
I was channeling you as I was painting a leaf imprint this afternoon. Similar brushstrokes and thought process that you are talking about and putting the color down. I love it! Love it love it.
Definitely looks like a fun project, Michele !😊Your free and uninhibited approach to art is always inspiring!✨️Thank you as always, for sharing your many delightful ideas with us!🌺✨️🧚♀️I think these would make great Christmas cards! 🌲🌲🌲Those little mini paintings at the end are amazing!!!!🥳👏👏👏
These are so beautiful! I paint my holiday cards each year and this is a great way to get a bunch done at one time, Thank you for sharing this technique with us!
In general I'm not a fan of abstract (I have one hanging up that a dear friend made for me that I like) but I did want to see what semi-abstract trees was all about. I am pleased that I clicked on it now. Such a great way to make small studies of clouds, trees, landscapes, etc before committing to a large expensive sheet of paper. Also they make great ATCs. So, I subbed. 🙂
Wonderful. Thank you. I love some abstract work i find it can be intriguing and a nice way to experiment with mediums. So happy you liked the video. Thank you 😊
Your work is absolutely spectacular! You make it seem so effortless!!! I will give it a try, and remain hopeful. Thank you for all your amazing inspiration! 🙏🥰🐝brave
This video is so cool! I definately LOVE your videos and I cannot wait to see more! 🥰😘 I had an idea about what you could do in your next video, i think a video on how to draw ladybugs would be more than nice, thank you. You are an amazing artist an youre so talented... I actually am only 11 years old 😁and I would love to be like you someday. Take care.❤
I always enjoy your videos. So inspiring!! I am off to give it a try. I have done some snow scenes and poinsettias already but now I want to try it with a more abstract background
Hello! You make painting look so easy! I believe the physiologists would have a hay day looking at the “blotches “ I paint, and wondering what they are! lol!!!
I use masking tape and I don't have much trouble at all unless I get it wet and let it dry completely or leave it on for hours. Plus I can leave it on my hard surface and reuse it too
These are so cute! Does anyone have an idea of how to use them as Xmas displays? For sure I could hang them from a string, like we used to do cards, but any ideas for mantels or bookshelves? I know this is a creative bunch!
why does everyone, not just you, call all evergreen trees PINE trees?? The majority of xmas trees are FIRS, not Pines. Maybe its a pet peeve, but just wish people would call them what they are.
Love your work but find you referencing ‘skin tone’ somewhat naive, you do realise there are many skin colours and it might appear racist to imply otherwise?
I think this comment is quite ridiculous. She said “a skin tone” not like the only skin tone. She also said she was painting “a tree” does that imply that’s the only type of tree? Is she biased for pine trees. Silly just silly. Michelle is not racist nor does she ever say anything that would be misconstrued as biased or racist. I hope you have a better day because obviously you are sensitive and obsessing over words.
Thank you. Yes I am fully aware there are many skin tone. I am just refering to this colour. I am quite sure I am not naive, ignorant nor racist. No intention of offending anyone in my videos. Just want to share art processes and hope that people enjoy learning a little something. 😊
No no no no I should not watch this now 😂 I have too much to do, and knowing your videos this will make me run into the craftroom .... oh, who am I kidding *running into the craftroom grabbing watercolour, washi, and paper* WAIT FOR MEEEEEEE! 😂

🤣 wait for me... Cute!
Oh I have nothing I need to do🤥🤥🫢

When I grow up I want to paint like you! ( i’m 61!😅) 😊

These are amazing Michelle! Could you give us the name of the gold pen you use please? I never catch it when you say it.

Love your work but find you referencing ‘skin tone’ somewhat naive, you do realise there are many skin colours and it might appear racist to imply otherwise?
Did you realize, many companies actually have colors that are peach tones that are called skin tone.
I think this comment is quite ridiculous. She said “a skin tone” not like the only skin tone. She also said she was painting “a tree” does that imply that’s the only type of tree? All skin ,even black has a peach undertone. It's art ,enjoy the process don't be so critical.
Thank you. Yes I am fully aware there are many skin tone. I am just refering to this colour. I am quite sure I am not naive, ignorant nor racist. No intention of offending anyone in my videos. Just want to share art processes and hope that people enjoy learning a little something. 😊
There always has to be someone to be 'offended' somewhere these days... how depressing when most of us are fired up to try these paintings😢
