+Uday Thakare I never felt sumo is a reliable vehicle as I used tata sumo and indigo ls this car are not at all reliable and sumo specially you get lots of engine problems sometimes with the suspensions to irritatating car sumo is I used it. Coming to Tavera I think u have driven it once and commenting as if driven thousands of kms, I use Tavera car daily 150+ kms running and not only fuel efficient Tavera is meant for rough and tough conditions roads though its not a SUV its an muv which so called as passenger car or people carrying car. Tavera gives you low maintenance while compare to tata sumo and Tavera is most reliable rough & tough car MUV on Indian roads that's why people & taxi owner prefer it dear because of its ruggedness. Tata Sumo gets lots of repairs,and very low comforts were compare to Tavera and you need to spend more money on maintenance of car. The reason y sumo sales were grabbed by qualis and now its Tavera. Tavera and Qualis are most rugged rough & tough cars, Sumo is only strong in its body,but no were match to Tavera usage not even qualis. Your are Automobile Engineer really I think u work for tata motors.
+Uday Thakare I think you like your 3 years old baby sumo,now after 3 years or 4 years your maintenance duty starts,I know and I used many cars of tata motors how excellent service they give after 3 years visiting service centre I used safari dicor,indigo and Sumo,Tata vehicle are good looking well build and good interior good mileage attraction to customers but technical issue occurs a lot in tata motors you get spare parts cheaper why would any wants to use a car who technical issues arises after 3-4 years troubles a lot.Even dealers and service center ppl suggested me to sale of my previous vehicle useless cars technical not so good.After 3 years may be you start believing me. Coming to Tavera dear 184mm of ground clearance is less for you r u really a automobile engineer because for a MUV it more than enough , SUV like Scorpio has 180mm.And your sumo has 190mm only difference of 6mm. Your saying Tavera feels a risky vehicle dear you don't know then how its carrying 10 people inside it and in city and highway usage because you see more taxi of Tavera in India then Sumo, Even taxi operators know which is best,reliable,rough& tough car so they use and depend and believe that is Tavera car not Sumo. Sumo car body is like a big box while turning or speedly if you turn the vehicle their is more chances that the vehicle rolls on the road with such huge boxy body shape,its quite risky to drive sumo don't know when its body gets turned over.that why ppl prefer Tavera then sumo. You really don't know about Tavera that's y ur saying Sumo sumo. Sumos sale was grabbed by qualis in late 19 century if its that good then why still Tavera has more taker then sumo. Your saying Tavera got crdi engine r u joking it was not crdi it was tcdi engine BS4 version 1998 cc which was taken from Sonalika rhino and not 1.25 lakh vehicle recalled Gm recalled 1.4 lakhs cars.because there technical engineering team has corrupted for money.And coming to BS3 engine the rugged engine Turbo 2.5l engine best and better then sumo engine. Sumo unbalanced car don't know on what speeds it gets turn over even safari also risky cars these.
