Hi Ryan! Just bought the black wraps as my 1st ever wraps. I really love the support and don't find it really hard to use since I have a gym partner to help. Would you still recommande another wrap since I'm starting with this equipment? Thanks
I personally have been using the red training wraps in competition and find that I get a lot out of them and really enjoy how easy it is to wrap myself, but then the extra support of someone else wrapping me. My legs are pretty big and the black competition wraps I don't get that many revolutions.
It's been a long time, I don't know if I could get something like it made up again, however any machine shop should be able to make something like it up, it's just a pressed bearing with a handle on one side and a tapered split rod on the other. Feel free to email our support sales@innerstrengthproducts.ca and I can provide pictures if that might help.
I don't have any experience with the Signature Golds personally besides wrapping some people with them a couple times. The new training wraps are a bit less supportive than Grippers, the new competition wraps are more supportive than grippers.
The black ones are significantly stronger than the red ones, and I wouldn't recommend them for someone new to wraps. In your situation I would recommend the SBD Training(Red) wraps, or the Inzer Iron-Z wraps. The SBD would be slightly stronger but still not too hard to wrap yourself.
If you will be wrapping yourself and/or are new to wraps then I would recommend the training wrap. It's easier to use yourself and when wrapped tight will still provide a ton of support.
bought black ones without knowing that they are much harder, and they'll be my first wraps, should i get another pair of softer ones? (not necessarily sbd)
The competition(black) ones are very tough to wrap yourself, you may find more success with a softer wrap to start, like the training(red) by SBD or the Iron-Z or Gripper by Inzer.
Thankyou for the tips to use comp wrap... I was counfused when first i want to use hahaha
Happy to help!

Where can I find a wrap roller like the one in the video?!?!? I've looked everywhere
It's actually custom made by a local machine shop.
@@InnerStrengthProducts Any chance you could get me the hook up? That's awesome

No problem!
What if the back of my leg/back of the knee hurts after using them for the first time
That's definitely normal, I sometime still get some bruising after not using them for a long time.
