EA's approach and vision is of a small company. They stopped the game...for launching another. Did you imagine Apple or Microsoft stopping the applications in use because of a new version? There is no clear communication to users and they have no clue when and what to expect. Such poor management I've rarely seen...probably in 90's...but we are in 2017.
Looks like the game has not released on Android yet! Usually the play store is behind the App store though, so be patient!!
