I like Bret Hart's story about how he had to stop wearing his signature leather jackets in WCW because they'd always get stolen due to Doug Dellinger doing a bad job of watching them. Bret said one time he left Dellinger to watch his jacket. He goes back to the locker room later, only to find a sleeping Dellinger and his jacket gone.

Someone was stealing money from the lockers and they left some money in a locker w some spray paint markings on the back. After the show they frisked everyone and found the culprit and Gorilla beat the piss out of him. Anyone want to guess who the thief was............It was none other than the Missing Link. Link was also famously banned from the Chicago Suburban bar that my friend ended up latter bouncing. at I guess Link had quite a few issues, even among the wrestlers he was out of control..

I read a story almost 25 years ago by an old wrestler who was bitter about the wrestling business. One of the things he wrote about was an incident in the Portland Wrestling days in the late 70's or early 80's. One day while the heels were being paid, the promoter (Don Owens) told them that he would shitcan all of them if they ever brought another under age girl into the locker room. The Grappler spoke up and said it was the baby faces that has done it.

I know this ain't wrestling but there's an old baseball story that Babe Ruth got Leo .Durocher traded from the New York Yankees around 1929-30 due to accusing him of stealing his watch (they were roommates). Ruth supposedly set a trap in the locker room and caught Durocher with three marked $50 bills.
In any case, Durocher was a young short shop who couldn't hit much and was gone just like that from the Yankees so it may have been his lack of hitting too.
Durocher, was a shifty character for baseball, suspended for consorting with gamblers, well noted as a manager for ordering pitchers to throw at batters, etc.
so the story is still out there almost 100 years later about 1 Hall of Famer stealing from another....

I forget where I saw it, but I remember Bret Hart saying someone came to one of his autograph signings with one of his old Hart Foundation jackets that had been stolen, but didn't confront the guy about it. I'd think if you're a real fan of the guy you'd hand the thing over, but that's just me. How in the heck would some rando arena employee be able to get in the lockerroom and make off with the Hitman's jacket without getting an Anvil to the face.
