Are trench coats supposed to be worn on cold, rainy days or is it fine to wear them on dry, cold days? How do you wear short trench coats? Are they for casual, dressy occasions, or both?
Very good question, I use them both ways, traditionally they're more for wet/drizzly weather but so many these days aren't waterproof. I would wear them on dry cool days and wet days. I think shorter trench coats look more casual, whereas longer ones tend to work well for both dressy and casual days.
@@AlarnaHope Thank you for answering my question. I live in the southwest, USA in a high dessert area where is very dry and it doesnt rain much, but we do have a winter. I want to wear a trench coat for not so cold days, but don't want to look out of place lol.

They can be a bit tricky, especially as they're not as fitted as other garments and can be quite unisex! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
