The 2006 Bears scored 5 touchdowns on punt and kick returns by Devin Hester. They had 3 additional defensive touchdowns. While the Bears had the 2nd most points in the NFL, they also gained the 15th most yards. I think I’d have the bears even lower.
You have to realize that this is grading the teams. Not the teams offense or their quarterbacks. Having a good defense, would actually make them ranked higher
The 84 Miami Dolphins will always be my number one super bowl runner ups, no matter what the c score or people say. I realize they may not actually be the number one team, but in my heart, they will be. Besides maybe the undefeated Patriots, that was the most excited I have ever gotten over a team that didn't win. What they accomplished that year was just incredible, especially considering the era it was in.

Why do you think winning or losing in one score or more than one score game is such a huge difference? Being clutch and winning close games with game winning drives & making defensive winning plays is just as impressive. The whole “C Score” seems like a lazy, amateurish way of doing this.
I don’t even think it’s based on one win games. Being good in 1 score games is good but In some cases, it can come down to luck and good Fortune and this is great quality of wins
There is no way that the 1979 Rams are the worst SB winner ever. That may have been their best team during their 1973-80 playoff streak. It was a team that had to fight through injury problems and a QB change (things like that aren't usually used in formulas like this). Also, for worst SB loser ever, I would have to put the 82 Dolphins or the 08 Cards up there.
The 79 Rams i have consistently been ranked near the bottom of super bowl losing teams. Not just by this guy. I think you may be confusing super bowl performance with overall season. The rams put up a hell of a fight during the super bowl against a great steelers team, but i think they had better teams during the decade that didn't make it. The 82 Dolphins were one of the better teams during the season. It was a crazy season because of the strike, but they had home filled in the afc championship game, had a 4 point lead in the 4th quarter of the SB, and you think they're the worst? Cmon. They had one of the worst SB QBs in SB history, but them being there was no fluke. It was a pretty good team overall

The 82 Dolphins did rely heavily on that defense, but had a horrible offensive game in the super bowl. They usually had a better game, albeit nothing special, but good enough. I'm also curious out of all the super bowl losers, why you think the 82 Dolphins were so bad. There are tons of teams ranked worse than that team, that lost the SB. Idk if the Rams were the worst losing SB team and if that ranking was fair to be last, but they were not some juggernaut. They played awesome during the SB, but you can't ignore 9-7 during the regular season. I'll give you the fact that if you magically transported both teams, right before the SB, they probably would win. But if they played regular season, I would easily take the Dolphins to win.
