No matter what you choose as your destination, Disney will ensure that you're getaway will be the perfect, authentic experience with all the fun, all the family and all the trimmings: even if your getaway, is within the getaway itself.

I am married with 3 young children. We stayed in the cabins at fort wilderness in July 2015. I highly recommend this resort to anyone! Especially those with kids. Lots of space! Also, save money on food by cooking yourself. Don't forget to try Trails End Restaurant. Excellent food!
My family stays in the Cabins at Fort Wilderness every year around Christmas time. It's such a special place to us, and offers some of the most spacious and secluded rooms on property. This video just got me excited for this year's trip!

I stayed at fort wilderness every time I went to Disney world when I was a kid. I have good memories of that place.
Stayed there twice before in the cabins. The cabins exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to taking my RV there next. It's Disney Magic with camping as a bonus.

Even though we've stayed at Saratoga springs and the lodge before, we still love the campground! It's our favorite place to stay! It's so nice and peaceful too. We've stayed in a camper, tents, and the cabins, and grow closer as a family every time. I have so many memories of this place. Love you fort wilderness campground! See ya real soon! 😉

I absolutely love this place! my family comes here all the time. it's just a lovely place, with lovely people and great food. It's comfortable and a nice friendly atmosphere. Besides, who doesn't love riding the gocarts around just to look at the scenery.
This is nice, but I want to go to River Country. ;)

When was this place made? I've never heard of it before.
Fort Wilderness opened the same time as Magic Kingdom back in 1971. I spent a lot of childhood vacations there. Really one of the best parts of Walt Disney World.

Last time I went camping here they didn't have half this stuff. I remember they had a little shop that they didn't show.

Its a shame they make these so expensive and unaffordable for many families like I as a single parent. All kids should be able to experience disney parks
+Cynthia D It's only unaffordable if you don't hunt for the deals. www.undercovertourist.com has cheaper tickets (been using them for 11 or 12 years now, never a problem) and you can rent DVC points for cheap at www.dvcrequest.com

THIS ISNT CAMPING!!! It's just a disneyworld with a boring outdoor thing! CAMPING IS WHEN YOU MAKE SMORES,AND SLEEP IN CABINS OR TENTS! THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY! Camping doesn't have fireworks , Disney characters or a show! Thanks a lot Disney ! Disney made camping an half indoor place now!

+REXX The Creeper Prince my family stayed there this year, and it's much cheaper to bring down a camper and camp there then stay at a resort and fly,Yes it's not real camping(which is something I do often) it's Disney camping,but it was still lovely and when you walk around a park all day it's nice to just "go home"
Panhan 17 i admit i love disney, but where i camp its free! Firewood is free, boats are free, heck we have wifi where we camp! XD
