PRO TIP: Do not use a screwdriver to flip the buckle from behind the glass! You may damage it! Instead use the directions from BMW which say to lower the glass till there is only 8-10cm of glass showing above the widow opening. Look down at the regulator buckle - can you see the glass hole?? If not, adjust the height of the glass up or down, until the glass hole is visible just above each buckle. Now, holding the glass with one hand from below, use a screwdriver or other sturdy long tool and place it through the glass hole and push the buckle. It will open easily and without much effort at all. Now do the other buckle similarly, and pull the glass up through the door. I did this by myself - no help needed. Hope it helps.

man i struggled hard getting my e36 vert window out to do the latch + actuator but realized my buddy was wrong and window didnt need to come out lol

i would have never expected the window to be clipped in like that, then again the newest bmw i've had a door panel off on was an e39 xD
