I went to a wedding for my mom's friend's daughter. The reception was buffet style. We were seated at a table with a woman and her 2 daughters. She piled their plates with food. Then she removed large plastic containers from her purse and filled them. Everyone at the table was staring at her like she was crazy but she didn't care. Like she took 5 plates worth of food.
I worked at a beautiful 5 star banquet hall. I’ve seen the most abhorrent behavior & that was one of my top 3 peeves. People bagging up the catered food like that is disrespectful.
I got into a fight with the best man (I was a guest at my cousin's wedding), we knocked over the wedding cake, and my cousin's bride cussed us out. Then my "intelligent" ass said to her, "Why are you so angry, you're gonna get married sooner or later again?" That was the wrong thing to say at the time.
The absolute worst wedding I have ever seen was while I was working at a lovely high scale banquet hall. The bride & groom had a venue set up for 75 people but almost 200 showed up. I was collecting dinner plates and one woman picked her plate up, licked all the gravy off it then handed it to me. I was done by this point & told the mgr to get this sh!t show under control or I was taking my servers & walking out.
Adding an altar call to any ceremony seems to be a common practice among Southern Baptists. I was at a funeral recently and left feeling like I had been severely beat around the head with a Bible.

I went to school with Patel children. Their family was Sikh, and yes… they owned/ran local gas station/mini marts.
