Most of the tooling used comes from similar factories in places like Birmingham (U.K.) in the 1950s and 60s when we still had a tooling industry. It’s great to see it all still in valuable use.
you have to love a country that allows you to come to work in your house slippers and PJ's
I am amazed at the accuracy of these people
Glad he is protecting his head with his safty glasses
He's using his safety squints
Fantastic ,nothing is wasted !!!!
That dude with the torch has some serious skills.
Love the safety sandals!
Great work!
At this point, we've all figured out these guys aren't worried about safety.
Give it up, just watch the entertainment.
It's pretty dangerous to inflate tires on wheels with that kind of locking ring. It can pop off under the giant pressure and rip your head off. Better do it in spetial safety cages for wheels, or put a long crowbar through the holes on wheel disk. Or, at least, turn the wheel upside down, in that case thelocking ring smashes the ground... Good luck to everybody😁
And that’s the only safety concern you spotted 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@TheMrWoodsman it was the only safety consern, that can cause decapitation😁😁😁
Sometimes the additional cost of super safety equipment leaves some manufacturing unviable and leaves many men unemployed.
When I was in the Army, it would take a team of 3 guys an hour to do what that one kid did in 30 seconds (breaking that tire loose/putting it back together).
Love the throw everything on the ground then pick it back up ,if someone could just start building work benches they would make a killing selling them when these guys figured out how it would increase their productivity and decrease their labor
It's crazy what the men do there. Very well done and everything with the simplest means. The big sticking point is occupational safety. Neither hearing protection nor work clothing, simply nothing. And finally, inflate a tire with a snap ring rim and hold your head over it. Life-threatening and completely unnecessary. Hopefully this was just posed for the video!
How many tons is the press?
I just watched a video where stray runaway truck tires went crashing through buildings and people.
They only make that mistake once - disposable labor.
Glad the remains of the Titanic are used for something
No waste!
True old school craftsmanship. Skill and experience vs loading stock into a CNC mill and letting a computer do the work for you.
I was blown away by the guy punching holes. I didn't see an indexes or references, yet, I assume, he was punching holes with precision. smh
Rims only have to be precusely machined and balanced if the vehicle is traveling at high speed. That truck probably never goes faster than 40mph.
The rim was damaged because Pakistani drivers habitually grossly overload their truck - this is a job that would never need to be done in Western countries because the rims outlast the chassis.
THOSE GUYS COULD MAKE A SPEED BOAT OUT OF DOG SHIT......UNREAL!!!🤤
Try wearing the safety glasses? Thank you
I think you should start donating safety glasses to their entire country.
You don't need glasses, when you inflate rusty widow maker wheels without a cage.
Wenigstens hat er Sicherheitsschuhe an😅
The welding is inferior
Wow now we are in a third world country doing that shit.😡
They are pros, unfortunately the employer takes advantage of them
STFU...pretty sure you have no idea of their employer/employee arrangement. You're just speaking rote political ideology.

Same truck 10th video
God-damned, they got the rusty wheel they handed rusty wheel ... .
Life is cheap and short in Pakistan.
No wonder they curse their god minimum 10 times a day.
I hope the sandals are OSHA approved.
Melt it down and try again
That is some kind of abuse for the rim centre to break like that.
I imagine their DOT departments are rather flexible in their safety inspections.
@@BWolf00 Just a bit...:)...
These guys are laying dimes when they weld lol
no need for a garage, just keep the lathe outside
Necessity is the mother of invention...As a mucker and Grinder, mad props to those guys for gettin er done...I love how they basically "eyeball it"-- sweet Welds~ Good health to you all.... Namaste.
Why other than complete boredom would you try to repair a broken rim? just get one from the closest junk yard (or parking lot), it could be hard to tell the difference. Judging by the number of these "repair" plates being manufactured this must be a normal occurrence. Also judging by the run-out in all of these machines and tooling I'm guessing they save a bundle not needing to balance tires.
A dangerous job was inflating the tire. Many men have been killed when the ring blew off when inflating on the ground instead of in a cage. Years ago those split ring tube rims were the only kind.
By all means, stand over a split ring while you're airing it up, that way you can catch the ring with your face when it flies off at 200 miles per hour!
I'm impressed at getting the tire on & off.
What is the cost for a repair like this?
1 child bride and a goatskin full of wine.
120,000 drakma or approximately US $3.00
This is Balochistan Pakistan. Muhajir, punjabi , cant do these hard labor jobs.
