Your 64 looks nice and the way it moves 👍👍 it’s like “quick” I still have mine set up the way it came out the box, I try to watch as many utube videos on how you guys get yours to do what it does, and try to follow, thanks a lot for your videos

Hello,i have a question about the (strenghtend) rear axle you have on your 64.Where can i find them,i have been looking on Redcat,Kandy n Chrome, eBay..i can't find them anywhere. To me those axles a big mystery bicause i see them on a lot of 64's on TH-cam,but i still don't know where to find and buy Them...thanks..

The axle reinforcement is from Kandy and Chrome. It's a decal but I cut lexan stip to reinforce it.

@@NorthSideCustomRC THANKS for your superfast reaction!!...Yes ofcourse i've seen them on K&C ,but arrent these Just adhesives/stickers with engravings?...I realy thought it was An new type of axle ..i am surprised by your info..thank you very much ,PS your 64 looks beautyful...kind regards from the Netherlands,...Erwin

@@ErwinvZ correct his is just stickers basically but can do what I did and take a piece of scrap lexan.
Put sticker on lexan then cut out the sticker so the sticker is reinforced with the lexan. Only need do half inch as rest wraps around the axle

What are the chains for in real life on a 64 ? Thank you

its to limit the hydro length on some janky setups. but properly setup it can create a pivot point so the differential to body/frame work in unison(almost like a hinge) instead of independent of the hydraulic. when one side is raised and the chain is lock/limited it acts as a fulcrum point so that when you raise one side the leverage actually helps pull the other side down (instead of just lifting one side and relying on the car weight to bring the other side down). this allows to twist the enitre frame easier, to get the front wheel up to 3 wheel.
i dont think this will work on rc because the suspesion is not floating youd just be fighting the opposite servo.

Take some of the slack out so it looks more realistic.

I actually got them as tight as I can without pulling on them. My issue is there is slack because the springs are compressed a bit under the weight, when the shocks decompress the chains are tight
When she hops as the nose go up the shocks decompress gives a lil more height and help from stalling on the bumper cuz she wobble. On a previous set up this trick is how I got her to pop 7.5 inch with stock servo horns no crazy extensions

@@NorthSideCustomRC since the chains are just for looks as opposed to a real car, maybe there is a flexible chain that would stay tight without really causing any lift limits
