5:50 rain :) Also I hope you do more of these. They are some of the best tutorials out there, I appreciate the real time pace and authenticity and detail.
You're so right! I have done a few lo-fi beats where I use it as an alternative to actual rain samples! Thanks so much for your kind words, very much appreciated!
Hey man, your rev-2 videos are awesome. I have a unit and am looking to do more sound design. your vids are helping a ton. Can you do more UK deep house/garage sound design?
Thanks for the comment and suggestion! I will definitely make a video with some of my favourite bass patches! I'll also have a look at making an organ patch now :)
@@alexthompson4200 that would be awesome! I just recently purchased one and having a hard time finding solid videos and break downs until I came across your break downs! Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to more content Alex :)
Another winner. Too many patch tutorials just list a bunch of numbers--"set attack to x, decay to y" and so forth--but you explain your rationale each time. Moreover, the bits where you play with parameters and suggest/demonstrate alternatives are ultimately the most helpful. You aren't doing a tutorial on a single patch so much as a family of related patches--and ultimately sound design in general.
Thank you so much for writing such a lovely comment! I'm so glad you find them useful and that you can make something that is unique to the sound you want to create :)
Find me on instagram for more synth and piano stuff! @alexthompsonkeys
