I'm myself a bare-foot style runner using vibram five-fingers. Fore-foot strikers reflect the natural way of running, enacted by human evolution on the plains of East Africa. Kudos to Dr Alice Roberts and Prof Dan Lieberman for their awe-inspiring program and research.

And nine years later still fascinating and so true. I love running but only started because of the pandemic when my local leasure centre closed during lockdowns. C25K has changed my life.

Humans didn't run to eat, they ran to avoid being eaten.

    "Designed" for running hey?.
I thought "real" science" was against the possibility of anything that even had the plausability for design?.

    hay BBC.......
liked this program alot up untill ep 3.....
im CERTAIN its just because this is a british series, (AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT BRITAIN IS THE MASTERMIND OF THE TYPE 0- CONSPIRACY AGAINST MANKIND......)
but in ep 3 "brains" this host chick spends like 13 seconds discussing the neanderthal genome sequencing projject which PROOVED THAT ASIANS, INDIANS, AND ALL WHITES ARE BETWEEN 4% and 24% NEANDERTHAN...thats significant enought to mention DONTCHA THINK BBC????????????????
