@@pubdigitalix The vapor needs to be cooled somehow. Water in the pipe is, in fact, cooled by a radiator _(or fresh water is pumped in but that can be very wasteful unless you have a use for hundreds of gallons of warm water)_

With the technical approach shown, the tanks is kept always at atmospheric pressure to allow access at any time for servicing, etc. If the gas was "vacuumed" out or purged completely by other means, then tank pressure would change with conditions causing parasitic leaks and complicating servicing. The approach you mention is used for power electronics in pressure vessels that remain sealed often for many years.

It just mentioned " 3M technical service engineers can suggest appropriate compounds and assist with material compatibility tests." Could you please recommend which materials would be best for tank.
