I loved both makeovers. Just goes to show you how versatile an “outdated” piece of furniture can be. You have such a great imagination and skill in reworking all your furniture pieces. 😊
This video is great because like a lot of your videos, it gives people ideas about how to repurpose a piece that is no longer useful in their current stage of life, rather than throwing it out and buying new.
I loved the blue nursery version, it was darling 😊. But the new version is sophisticated and can fit into a variety of decors. I like the color! Well done!
I'm surprised the first makeover didn't sell. I thought it was really cute. The bunny stencil was my favorite part. The second makeover is very pretty, especially the wallpaper, that really elevates the piece. I hope it sells.
Andy, I don't believe it was a failure. There just wasn't the right discerning mom to buy it. I like this version as well. Possibly because I put casters on almost anything I can.😂 Great job both times❣️
The new look is great but I'm surprised the original pretty blue didn't sell. I actually prefer the blue bunnies, but I really hope this new, more sofisticated version proves to be a financial success. Good luck 👍.
Great redo, kinda dark and moody. Loved it as the nursery table too. Amazing the difference between the two outcomes on the same piece of furniture. Enjoyed this makeover as well. Thank you.
lol, love this! 😆 every now and then we all invest ourselves in one that's just snakebite from the get-go. but once you're in, you're ALL, in so nothing to do but keep going. i love both versions of this cute little stand-- 2 really different looks and very nice work on both! love your channel 💗
The redo seems to suit that piece of furniture. I like the new color. And points for being ahead of the curve on the wallpaper choice. 😊. I really loved your humor about the “Failure” at the start of this video. You really had me laughing. Thanks for brightening my day!
I’m sorry you had to do so much work, but I think it’s a triumph! Im guessing many of us have pieces at home that are painted, and it’s hard to see that piece in a different way…but this really helps show how drastic just paint colour can change a piece. It doesn’t have to be in dire need of a new look, to give it a whole new look. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Dearest Drea, you are such a spicy meatball dahling. You know you are the star and keep us coming back. The pool pad made me snicker. You're just the bee's knees.
Your imagination and creativity are limitless. The baby room side table was adorable but the bar on wheels is perfect in every way. You'll have no problem selling it. Its another successful design original !
Cyd in MD. Your little buddy was like THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER...you just couldn't get him out the door. I hope the makeover does the trick. The first iteration was adorable too.
I really liked the nursery table.😢. But, you do what you have to do. I did like the bar chest also, but not quite as much. I have lived with dark walnut furniture for too many years, so any wood that is even close to that is too dark for me. But, that is just me. This piece is also very nice. I’m sure this will sell-bars are very much in style. I do like your color mixture. It is right in style for those MCMs. You have very good taste in wallpaper, I must say! I love both of your choices! All in all, I think you did a great job, as always.
Not for you the half-measure! Where others might have tweaked, you completely re-envisioned. I love the custom color and applaud how you gave it a chance to grow on you.
She shoots! Boing, she misses, we lose!😟 But wait, she gets the rebound! It’s a long arc from beyond the three point line. The end game buzzer goes off, splash, a three pointer! We win!!!! Yea!!!
Definitely like the “re-do” much better. I think the paper you used on the first one let you down. I didn’t care for it but that’s just my opinion. Still love all your stuff Andy and your channel is very entertaining indeed.
Wasn't sure about the new color until it was finished, but it turned out great and really went with the pretty new bird and berries paper. I still love the original baby blue, "where the wild things are" nightstand but I like that you showed us a new approach to the same piece.
Okay, your furniture makeovers are wonderful BUT your skits with what's-her-name just cracks me up! You are absolutely hilarious and your acting is superb, daaawling. I look forward to more.
I thought this little nightstand was beyond adorable! I think it didn't sell because it was a nightstand. I've thought back and can't recall having a nightstand in my nursery setup. I'd bet if redid this exact same look on a dresser, changing table or storage wardrobe it would sell in no time!
Love the new wall paper. I’ve been a forest green person since 1980 (don’t care about trends). But I may have loved the other stencil so much to buy it and do the wall behind my bed. You see nursery I see old lady bedroom 😊♥️
I can’t believe that gorgeous baby piece didn’t sell!! However, the grown up version is also lovely and I really like the bronze colour you mixed up. It’s probably going to appeal to a wider audience now?! 🤩🎊😍
I totally love your thumb nail Andy! You crack me up! 😂 of course that’s not all I love …. Your entire presence, educational content, your artistic sense, your amazing voice …singing & speaking … and that lovely smile! Rockin’ it girl💫💃🏻💫
I thought the 1st version was darling. Loved the light wood, and light blue combo. The second version turned out great too. Maybe more on par with the younger generations likes. I bet it sell quick. I would have chosen the 1st. It was fun to see it change so much. Just shows how much you can change a piece with paint!
I love both treatments! I retired as a quality improvement manager in EMS. I taught teams how to use small scale testing to improve performance and processes. The first lessonI always taught was that we only learn when our tests fail…if the succeed, we only prove what we thought. I love the way you put that lesson into context!
There were great changes both creations. Perhaps, the nursery had the paper and the rabbits and that was "too much" .... But, the new bar it is nice and useble.Great job. And thanks for sharing your faliures and your triumphs.
From baby to graduate. I like both. It wasn't a failure it was an experiment in learning the market. Can't comment on the color as sometimes it looked grayish and other times greenish, and first on the brown-green side. Oh well must be my computer screen. Another great furniture fable!
I ADORE your videos. It’s a bit sad but I live for them. You, Kacha & my diy wife are the 3 TH-camrs I will drop everything I’m doing and click immediately onto your videos. I’m going to watch the video now I just wanted to tell you that ❤
It looks great Andy! Since you’re not quite finished with this piece I would like to suggest that you extend the back all the way to the top so you can’t see the wall behind it or any lamp cords etc… love you big❤️
Thanks for the tip! I was wondering if folks would like that they could have an opening for electronics/chargers etc, but you make a great point. Many thanks! 😊♥️
I can't believe the cute little nursery theme didn't sell, I thought it was adorable and I loved the pastel color theme of it. That said, the new version is also very nice. It's more sophisticated and functional and I'm sure the added bonus of it being on casters will help sell it this time. Fingers crossed!
Liked this better. A traveling bar. Guests don’t have to get up 😄. Beautiful coordinating colors and I love the rolling feet! The banter between you and mom is always fun.
I really liked your first refurb on this item, especially the sweet stenciling on the door. BUT, you outdid yourself on this current style. The paper you chose is my favorite part about it, and it ties in the paint color, stain and casters so well! ❤
I loved the nursery nightstand. If my grandchildren didn't live in another country I would have bought it! I was sad to see it go but I must admit the new piece looks beautiful too!
😢This was one of my favourite peices ever!!! If I had children (and lived closer) I'd have bought it. Okay. I do like the new design too. It is amazing.
Now you’ve got Pizazz! But you need (imho) a more serious/less busy fabric. And a dinner out somewhere ethnic. I’ve always found that mild indigestion stimulates creativity…
Your custom color is gorgeous!! I liked the first creation, but I love the redo. Thank you for showing how to remove the wax from the doors, I had no idea how to do that. Thanks for my new tool in my tool belt. 😊
I loved the nursery piece and it inspired me to make over one of those types of carts. The new look is amazing also. Failure is absolutely needed for success. Keep on keeping’ on.
“I am the wagon, coo coo cachoo” 😁😉 Cannot go wrong with William Morris ❤ I like both styles equally - I really like the stain on the doors - very sharp!
Hi Andy, I really liked the blue. At first I wasn't sure about the new color. I have to say it came out beautiful. The new color looked great in the end.
I quite liked this one, I don’t think it was a failure at all, it was cute. It would have been great in a child’s room. I really like that picture you staged with the table, great colours.
I did love that nursery nightstand and I can't understand why it didn't sell. I also like the 2.0, but not as much as 1.0 version. I do love the wallpaper though! 😍
No failures here! I LOVED the first piece and am surprised it did not sell. 😔 You did a nice job on the bar cart, but I’m not an olive green person (it did not read bronze on the tv. 🤷🏻♀️) The nursery piece was dreamy, though! That’s the kind of piece you would build a room around ! ❤
Your original redo was delightful! I do think that the stencil, while so charming, wouldn't "grow with" a child as well, so maybe that's why buyers were hesitant to invest. Im not far enough in to your video to have seen the new redo, but I bet it will be great!
On the first iteration, I just don’t see how it would be useful. Your biggest strength in you furniture redesign and creation, is clearly showing how this piece can do its new job. The little stand needed wicker baskets or something inside to give it a clear purpose, like toy or diaper storage etc.. But still you did a great job. My thoughts when I saw it were it’s too short, I am holding baby, and have to bend over to access it. Much better suited to a drink cart.
Yes, I suppose I night stand is less in demand for a room with a crib, although I was thinking is might be nice for a lamp, a place to set your water while rocking a baby, etc. Thanks!
The bronze tone paint has a nice shimmer to it that with the smoothing out of the seams in the top and sides makes the piece look almost like it's finished in some kind of leather or metal. I think the overall look hits more demographics/ is more marketable and the stain on the doors makes it pop and feel more modern. So I think it's a win. If the wallpaper application for the shelves is a current trend (and easily reversible) I see why you did tnat. Fingers crossed it moves quickly as I can sure see it i use as a nightstand or side table. (it would also make a great stand for a printer in a home office, by the way).
Andy Dehart lovely work I love the color the particular piece is not too my style but hopefully it sells very well. You did a lovely job on it as usual. Good job.
I think filling the gaps with bondo elevated the quality of this piece. The nursery version was cute but, since my need for baby furniture ended decades ago, I like this grown up version better. I LOVE the color. I am not a fan of the wall paper, but that is not a criticism. Different people like different things. I truly do like the cart. Both versions were win-win.
You did not fail, ever! If I were a young mother, I would have built an entire nursery around that piece. The next piece is great as well.
Oh wow, so great to hear that, thank you so much!! 😊♥️
I loved it, too !!!
I agree, if I was thirty years younger and had a child and wasn’t living in Australia…l would have totally bought that piece!
I have to agree! I'm also well past childrearing stage and living in Australia, but I loved it. However, I love the new look, too.
I loved both makeovers. Just goes to show you how versatile an “outdated” piece of furniture can be. You have such a great imagination and skill in reworking all your furniture pieces. 😊

I absolutely loved the baby blue and this new version.
Wow, thank you! ♥️
This video is great because like a lot of your videos, it gives people ideas about how to repurpose a piece that is no longer useful in their current stage of life, rather than throwing it out and buying new.
I love that you said that - I meant to make that point as well. Thanks so much!! 😊♥️
I loved the blue nursery version, it was darling 😊. But the new version is sophisticated and can fit into a variety of decors. I like the color! Well done!
Great to hear, thanks so much! ♥️
I'm surprised the first makeover didn't sell. I thought it was really cute. The bunny stencil was my favorite part. The second makeover is very pretty, especially the wallpaper, that really elevates the piece. I hope it sells.

Hooray for castors! 👍 Thanks so much! ♥️
@@FurnitureFablesbyAndy I know that's right. Thanks to the woman who invented the wheel! 😉

Thanks so much! 🐇♥️
Wow! Your custom mixed color against the richly stained wood looks so nice! Good job, as always.
Great to hear, thank you! ♥️
Very nice👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much! ♥️
Great redo, kinda dark and moody. Loved it as the nursery table too. Amazing the difference between the two outcomes on the same piece of furniture. Enjoyed this makeover as well. Thank you.
Thanks so much! 😊
Love the color! It’s very close to one of my favorite Melange paints - Restoration Bronze. Very nice redo. 👍
I realized later that I think that very color was in the back of my mind when I was mixing this one!! 😂 Many thanks. ♥️
lol, love this! 😆 every now and then we all invest ourselves in one that's just snakebite from the get-go. but once you're in, you're ALL, in so nothing to do but keep going. i love both versions of this cute little stand-- 2 really different looks and very nice work on both! love your channel 💗

If I had a baby boy I would have loved the original nightstand. This one is nice too.
Wow, thank you!
Loved it as a baby dresser and the newer version. As always I loved your video as entertainment as well as learning.
Both of those comments are so great to hear, thanks so much! 😊♥️
Couldn't have said it better myself, @carole4118
Love the color and the feet make it amazing …but I must admit that the blue was adorable 🥰
Aw, thanks so much! ♥️
❤ Love it. You are leading the herd, not following the pack! I love the paper.

Love Both designs🤩 In My Midwest Market, $200. for a small side table, would Never sell!
But your market is VERY different.
Thanks so much , and yes, I guess so, lol! ♥️
Dearest Drea, you are such a spicy meatball dahling. You know you are the star and keep us coming back. The pool pad made me snicker. You're just the bee's knees.

If I had children (and the money) I would definitely use the original.... the colours and designs were AMAZING 😁💙
Thank you so much! ♥️
Your imagination and creativity are limitless. The baby room side table was adorable but the bar on wheels is perfect in every way. You'll have no problem selling it. Its another successful design original !
Wow, many thanks!! ♥️
Love both pieces.
Thanks Paula! ♥️
Loved the colour - and castors, yehh, especially when you’re in your late 70’s, definitely helps in moving furniture.
Lol, and your 50's!! Thanks so much. 😊♥️
I can't believe it didn't sell the first time around Andy. It was AMAZING! But you once again did a marvelous job of re-imagining. Bravo!!
Thanks so much!
I like it and the new color, cute!!
Thanks so much!

Wow, great to hear - thank you! ♥️
That re-do is simply elegant!

😊😅 it’s so much better, almost like a jewel. Don’t be sad, everyone doesn’t succeed all the time.
Thank you, that is so nice to hear!
I love both versions. And I literally laughed out loud at the beginning 😂.
Yay, and thank you so much!! 🤓♥️🍸
I thought it was really cute before but looks rich and sophisticated with the new makeover. Like the stain color on the doors, good contrast.
Thank you, great to hear! 😊🤎
I really loved it as a nursery piece. It's still beautiful but was so precious.
Oh wow, thanks so much.
Love the new wall paper. I’ve been a forest green person since 1980 (don’t care about trends). But I may have loved the other stencil so much to buy it and do the wall behind my bed. You see nursery I see old lady bedroom 😊♥️
Love that! Many thanks.
I love both makeovers. It's hard overcome that cartoon bubble style. I think the bar has a bigger market.
Thanks , let's hope so! 😊♥️

Loved the first one now live the second one. I wallpered my new laundry in that William Morris and love it to bits
So cool, and thanks so much! ♥️
I thought the 1st version was darling. Loved the light wood, and light blue combo. The second version turned out great too. Maybe more on par with the younger generations likes. I bet it sell quick. I would have chosen the 1st. It was fun to see it change so much. Just shows how much you can change a piece with paint!
Thanks so much, and yes - so interesting how different one piece can look!
I love both treatments! I retired as a quality improvement manager in EMS. I taught teams how to use small scale testing to improve performance and processes. Great insight, and thanks so much!
❤
From baby to graduate. I like both. It wasn't a failure it was an experiment in learning the market. Can't comment on the color as sometimes it looked grayish and other times greenish, and first on the brown-green side. Oh well must be my computer screen. Another great furniture fable!

@@FurnitureFablesbyAndy you’re so welcome. It turned out stunning AGAIN btw!
The beginning was hilarious, thanks for the laughter. Good job on the redo.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much!
I really loved the little nursery table, but this really hits! Yes, the bronze is nuthin but net❤
Woo-hoo! Many thanks!
Amazing how Bondo on seams improved the style. I like the “adult” version bar/side table.
Right?? Many thanks!
Andy, It's all grown yp and I like it. Very glad you did another vision. Don't quit! As always you are FABULOUS! Cheryl
Thanks so much. Cheryl!

I LOVE the color. I am not a fan of the wall paper, but that is not a criticism. Different people like different things. I truly do like the cart. Both versions were win-win.
Yay, so glad you liked that color!! And totally get it about the paper - it's very specific. Many thanks! 😊♥️
OMG! You crack me up! Maxi pad floaties! 😂😂
LOL
Don’t know how you kept a straight face for this one!
Lol...ya. 😂
I loved the original with the cute stencil! Maybe it was a bit big for child's room? It is a great color now too! I hope it will sell!
Aw, thanks - I did too! Fingers crossed! 🤞 😊♥️
