My Mom and I.just loved this preacher! As a new babe in Christ, he blessed my heart so much I can't say! I was saved and water baptised at the Tiles Baptist Temple in 1980. I went up for prayer and when they asked what I needed prayer for, I said I wanted the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and they stood back and said "Thats of the devil!" and my friend with me said "It is not!.I have it and I'm not of the devil!" I remembered a little Assembly of God that I had once visited when invited and we went immediately over there and the Assistant Pastor was just locking the Church doors and when I told him why I'd come, he said service was at 6pm and they'd be proud to pray for me! That became my home church and yes, I was gloriously filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence!! Mom and I cried when he passed away but happy knowing he was I Glpry.with Jesus! So is my Mom now too. I so miss his preaching, there is nobody like him! Thankful that I found this site!! Praise the Lord!
I just discovered Pastor John Osteen for myself today. I have heard Bishop Dag Heward-Mills talk about him, but after today I really understand why he spoke so dearly about him. How I wish he was still alive.

The enemy is using everything he has against people of the earth today, and without the power of the Holy Ghost, he will walk all over us! We need the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and we need the gifts of the Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit. Walk in your power believers!!!

John was the real thing. He was a genuine voice for his generation. And he had the good sense to give the next generation, Joel. Great legacy.
