Just an update: I cried while listening to this again.
My dog of 14 years that I was very attached to and loved deep within my soul passed away a week ago. I found out 5 days before that he had a large cancer in his stomach that was making him sick, a devilish toxin (and he couldn't speak to tell me sooner). I am heartbroken. I took off work and stayed with him for 5 days, reeling with grief.
I couldn't imagine not having him in my life, and I went to a shelter. I saw a lot of dogs but wasn't inspired, and as I was leaving, there was a lady standing at the door holding a puppy. She said the puppy would be sent to County and put down if someone didn't take her that day. I took the puppy home. The puppy is a Pisces who I named River (after the River Jordan) 3 days after I got her.
The day my dog was put down ("let down"), it was as though he was speaking to all of us telepathically. He made it known to me that he was handing the torch over to River. He showed us happiness for a few hours. He picked out his favorite song to be played in his memory. He said goodbye to all of us before finally laying down on the blanket I bought him for wrapping his body after the procedure.
My heart is broken. I am growing to love River, but she is not Billy. I hope he knows how much I loved him.

My gpa is around and I feel him a lot. My mom was a Scorpio (me too) and she lost the left side of her face and eye right where you felt tingling from radiation treatment (for cancer).
