- AVN or avascular necrosis of the hip joint is a common problem of the hip joint. It means there is no blood in the hip joint. Following are common causes of AVN.
1. Alcohol intake is the most common cause of AVN.
2. Steroids are taken by many for body building . It can cause AVN. Steroids are sometimes given for many skin problem or allergy disorder or asthma or joint pain.In some patients it can cause AVN of the hip joint or hip arthritis.
3. Ayurvedic and homeopathy can also cause AVN.
Hip replacement can be done by MIS technique. MIS is a minimally invasive technique. It means no big muscle cut is there. So there is faster recovery. Dr Naveen Sharma can do Hip replacement by MIS.
Hip replacement can be done by two methods. Cemented and uncemented hip.
Uncemented hip replacement can be done in younger and stronger bones only. So it is possible if your age is less than 55 ot 60. These implants have a longer life . It can last from 15 to 25 years depending up on health of the bone and implant integration.
Cemented hip replacement can be done when bone quality is not good. In that age it is better to use cement to help implant.
Implant can be of three types.
1. Metal on poly used if patient is not very affording.
2. Ceramic on poly is used if patient is affroding.
3.Ceramic on ceramic is most costly implant.
I would use ceramic on poly in most of the cases.
Many patients ask these question if they can sit on floor after THR. Yes, it is possible to sit on floor and use Indian latrene as well but it should be used as an emergency.
How long is life of THR
depend on use of technique, quality of implant and how patient's quality of bone and nutrition it can last up tp 25 years and beyond.

3. आयुर्वेदिक और होम्योपैथी भी AVN का कारण बन सकते हैं।
एमआईएस तकनीक से हिप रिप्लेसमेंट किया जा सकता है। एमआईएस एक न्यूनतम इनवेसिव तकनीक है। इसका मतलब है कि कोई बड़ा मसल्स कट नहीं है। इसलिए तेजी से रिकवरी होती है। डॉ नवीन शर्मा एमआईएस द्वारा हिप रिप्लेसमेंट कर सकते हैं।
हिप रिप्लेसमेंट दो तरीकों से किया जा सकता है। सीमेंटेड और बिना सीमेंट वाला कूल्हा।
बिना सीमेंट वाला हिप रिप्लेसमेंट केवल छोटी और मजबूत हड्डियों में ही किया जा सकता है। तो यह संभव है यदि आपकी आयु 55 वर्ष 60 से कम है। इन प्रत्यारोपणों का जीवन लंबा होता है। यह हड्डी के स्वास्थ्य और प्रत्यारोपण एकीकरण के आधार पर 15 से 25 साल तक चल सकता है।
हड्डी की गुणवत्ता अच्छी नहीं होने पर सिमेंटेड हिप रिप्लेसमेंट किया जा सकता है। उस उम्र में इम्प्लांट में मदद के लिए सीमेंट का इस्तेमाल करना बेहतर होता है।
प्रत्यारोपण तीन प्रकार का हो सकता है।
1. पॉली पर धातु का प्रयोग किया जाता है यदि रोगी बहुत अधिक खर्चीला नहीं है।
2. पॉली पर सिरेमिक का उपयोग किया जाता है यदि रोगी पीड़ित है।
3.सिरेमिक पर सिरेमिक सबसे महंगा इम्प्लांट है।
मैं ज्यादातर मामलों में पॉली पर सिरेमिक का उपयोग करूंगा।
कई मरीज़ ये सवाल पूछते हैं कि क्या वे टीएचआर के बाद फर्श पर बैठ सकते हैं। हां, फर्श पर बैठना और भारतीय शौचालय का उपयोग करना भी संभव है, लेकिन इसे आपात स्थिति के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाना चाहिए।

सर मैं श्रीगंगानगर राजस्थान से 30 वर्षीय BSF का जवान हूं 17 अगस्त 2019 को मेरी कश्मीर में LOC पर ड्यूटी के दौरान पत्थरो के नीचे दबने से Hip Dislocate हो गई थी श्रीनगर में Skeletal Traction 6 Week का दिया गया था उसके बाद Bone Fragment Ball Or Socket के बीच में आ गया था जिसके बाद मुझे 12 दिसंबर 2019 को सर्जरी करानी पड़ी ..सर्जरी में 3 घंटे लगने के बाद मेरी Hip Dislocate नहीं हुई फिर 4 दिन बाद 16 दिसंबर 2019 को दुबारा सर्जरी हुई और Fragment निकाल दिया गया जो सर्जरी से पहलें कहने पर भी दिखाया नही गया और बाद इन्फेक्शन भी बहुत खतरनाक हुआ था ... जिसके चलते ( Amikacin और Linezolid600 ) दोनों Injection 15 दिनो में 30 लगे थे उसके 8 महीने बाद मुझे Hip Replacement Surgery का बताया गया और कहा था कि अगर Replcement सर्जरी के बाद अगर इन्फेक्शन हुआ तो मेरे डॉक्टर ने पैर काटने तक की बात कह दी थी लेकिन Confuse हूं किस डॉक्टर के पास जाऊ ... अभी इन्फेक्शन नही है पैर 2 इंच छोटा हो गया है Knee मैं Movement नही है तलवे में कभी कभी सूनापन रहता है बहुत Activity में Help लेता हूं दोनो Hip पर बैठ नही पाता Cruches पर 1 Kms तक Continue चल लेता हूं Letrine खड़े खड़े जाता हूं Westren Toilet में भी बैठ नही पाता पैसे समय और शरीर बर्बाद ही हुए है ... मैं खुद एक Addition Physical Trainner था आज खुद ठीक से चलने के लिऐ संघर्ष कर रहा हूं यही मेरी लगभग 2 साल की कहानी है सर्जरी के लिए एकदम तैयार हूं 11 जुलाई 2021 तक करवाने का Target है ..... उम्मीद है आप जरूर Reply करेंगे That's All और क्या आपका हॉस्पिटल CGHS पैनल में आता है....?
