He wrote this song after seeing something his cousin posted about depression while in an Uber on the way to the studio it’s saying just because you don’t see me doesn’t mean I’m not here he’s one of the best selling male vocalist in Australia
I thought it was about his friend who committed suicide?
Guy has phenomenal talent, and like many others, I feel he is underrated on the global stage. Such a fine generous young man too. This was superb.

Am from Canada and just happen to come across Guy Sebastian. I just love ,love his song Standing with you. His vocals are just fantabulous. I hope his records are played in Canada and USA.🙏👍🙏👍
Guy’s runs are just as good. Chris got a lot of his sound and techniques from his brother. If you listen to them both sing songs that have a lot of runs in them you can hear it. I have to say that Guy is an all around better singer, but Chris is great as well.
