Ignore the negative comments. This was useful. We all know you are just demonstrating it and that the frame should be in situ befroe doing this. Useful to see that it's not actually a science and for want of a better word you are just "jamming" the glass in place.
Probably would have recommended siliconing the packers at the bottom in, and using a plastic tool to lift glass though.

no silicone at bottom of packers to stop them slipping, when closeing door, for vibration? always put bottom bead in half way, incase the glass slips off the packer at the bottom

I wouldn’t suggest doing it with anything metal though you need to use a plastic paddle/shovel

Use a plastic paddle for moving glass in frame as it will catch you out one day or the amateurs you are trying to teach.

I think it should read toe and heel rather than toe and heal! Unless the door is sick!

Wrong it should be heeled and toed and also another packer opposite the top side packer. If you dont do this the glass just slips into the space and drops. Also use a plastic padel not a metal one in case you break the glass.

Do doors not come from supplier already toed and heeled?

@@Excel510 Not really obvious to the amateur, you must know there are plenty of DIYers that have absolutely NO clue how to do this!

where are your safety gloves demo or not ? even toughed glass can have sharp edges ..never use a metal tool to toe and heel ..even with tape around it buy a glass paddle ..could have been a lot better for the diyer ...

Why would you glaze it before installation? lets make it nice and heavy first, derrr!...god this is so bad !

Rubbish how can toe and heel the door if it's not installed you have no idea

I fitted doors and windows since 1983 and although what he is doing is basically correct I would never glaze a door prior to install. The weight is substantial and so awkward to open door and fix it. All he is doing is done after installation

Tells you not to put toughened glass down on the floor due to risk of it popping then proceeds to toe and heel with a metal scraper, go figure!!! No bridge packers used in the top to even out the ridges in the profile either
