Col de Repsol is one of my favs.
Sunshine, short sleeves and smiles all ‘round … doesn’t get much better. Really like the cinematic feel to the video that your camera is capturing … not overly saturated … perfect! PS: As good as Mallorca is, I can’t wait to see yesterday’s ride in the Peak!!! 🚴😀

Port des Canonge (max about 17%) and Port de Valldemossa (max about 13%) are both fantastic climbs that are a little steeper, but not ridiculous. Narrow, lots of hairpin bends and a fair bit of tree cover. Both are off the MA10 between Banyalbufar and Valldemossa. 😘

@@KatieKookaburra It’s been a while, but last time I was there, these two weren’t quite the smooth tarmac Mallorca is famed for. Still very much worth a visit 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Looks like you are having fun and really enjoying getting back to to good rides. Majorca certainly looks awesome for cycling. I hope I feel like you do when I finally get back on the road after my accident last August. Need weather to be a bit better so until then it's Zwift.

My cousin lives in Spain and she told me that the roads are so good because they huge funds when they joined the EU. The roads were pretty crappy and not so many roads. Better design and sealing plus not too much traffic sees Spain with some of the best roads Europe.
Looks like a great ride! If you want to try a hard and steep climb in Mallorca definitely try the Sobremunt. One of the hardest climbs I’ve every ridden… Enjoy!

Take on Sobremunt, it is savage. starts off nice and level then bam, it punches you in the face haha. The south side is the steep one

@@KatieKookaburra 25% at the steepest don't forget to do the last 1k or so after the meadow. Hopefully they've paved the south side. The descent into Esporles is great though.

Hi Katie! Long time admirer, I'm hoping to do my first century this summer as a part of a fundraiser! What sort of filming / mic setup do you have? The sound quality is really great and I'm just wondering how you deal with wind. I've got a gopro but I don't know what to do for audio.

Calla fornels as a little climb at 21% calla el mago also have a fantastic one starting at 18% 🤓

You need to get them into a smaller ride around the south west . There is cristal clear water with the winter blue sky 🤩
There’s the Sobremunt climb to the North of Palma which is quite tough, 5K @ 10%. Or try the “Devil’s Climb” on the Cami de Can Bosc, just outside Pollenca - short but vicious.
