This is the scene where the plant takes the car... The car which has been through everything. I can't tell you how much I laughed the first time I saw this LOL.
His scream when he first gets touched by the plant is absolutely phenomenal. And he's still screaming like that seconds after he gets out of the car. Absolutely comical!!!
Old American land boats like that Chevy Caprice and the Ford Crown Victoria were extremely well made. Police departments loved them because their frames were strong enough to push other cars around and the doors could stop gunshots. These cars died out in the late 2000s because of their large size and low fuel economy
@@blaineangelo1525 It was good in some ways that, that car was getting destroyed more and more because it shows that Carl Bentley doesn't deserve to be a cop because he got fired from "Parrish Shoes" for an unfair reason and with the police car getting destroyed more and more shows that he's supposed to be a shoe factory maker, and not a cop. Unless he attended police school before getting a job at the shoe factory which shows that he has police experience. Otherwise after getting fired, he must have attended police school just to be a cop.
Brantford PD has some seriously durable cars. This one survives: - Getting shot at by Van Pelt - Getting shot at by monkeys - Getting crashed by monkeys - Crashing into the mall Before being eaten by plants.
it kills me with laughter everything that happens to the poor car in the course of the movie and the police does not know what is happening, I love this movie! LOL
This part is funny. I love Officer Carl's reaction when he sees the huge creeper vine. After all the incidents that the car has been through and how badly damaged it is as a result, it's probably time for that car to go. It's been shot and crashed, and lost a door and all its glass which is broken.
Hahahaha I cant stop watching this, literally gets me everytime and never gets old for me.. love all your comments lol.. For me it's just the way he rocks up in the beaten car, it backfires.. She looks at it like "wtf" and he's like, "Is there a problem ma'am?"
I love how aunt Nora is screaming then carl doesn’t realize what’s the problem until the vine touches him and the rest his epic with him screaming and his face looks like a baby 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣so epic
Der Tag war heute hart. Ich habe nicht viel tolles zu erzählen. Ich schreibe heute Abend wieder und kommentiere jetzt einfach. Ich freu mich wenn du den zweiten Like noch setzt Martin
The scream this man makes his historical lol how did he pull it off so well I cant stop laughing this is the funniest part of the movie two thumbs up 👍👍
Not me thinking of this scene in a coffee shop, looking it up on TH-cam, and end up having to try to stifle hysterical laughter. This scene is the best.
Not only did the giant vine from those man-eating plants from the game devour his car, but also the stuffed animals among other things from Sir Sav-A-Lot that fell into his car when Alan was taking advantage of it while crashing through aisles until knocking over a huge shelf of paint cans.
To this day it’s still one of my favorite films when it comes to old school classics. I remember when I was a kid at 6-7 years I saw this film up to 5-6 times with my dad and my 3 younger sisters. Even to this day he still gets a huge kick whenever the black officer says “Fine Take It!”.
I wish they would release one of those special editions that has a 3 hour documentary about how they were able to do all the effects of Jumanji with 1995 technology instead of solely using green screens and cgi
This scene, and the scenes from tommy boy of their car being destroyed are absolute comical genius! Still my favorite. David Allen Grier also plays Hal in Series of Unfortunate events! What a fun treat to see him in something else!
"Yea I'm bla-AAAHH!"- Carl. Honestly, Carl is such a good cop. He's been through some shit and he still tries to protect and serve his community. What a dude. I hope canonically Carl went on to have a long career and a relaxing retirement.
The funniest thing to me is how, as the movie progresses, he continues to drive the car as it slowly gets more and more destroyed until it’s nothing more than a barely functional Tin can.
His scream when he first gets touched by the plant is absolutely phenomenal. And he's still screaming like that seconds after he gets out of the car. Absolutely comical!!!
That is precisely why i'm watching it!!! Llllol
David Alan Grier was hilarious in this! It sucks that he didn’t become a big movie star after In Living Color like Jim Carrey did
Mic S I laughed at that part because that was FUNNY. 😂😂😂
He's a genius in this scene!!
why didnt he shoot it
The abuse that Carl’s car takes over the course of the movie is just mind-blowing!
Old American land boats like that Chevy Caprice and the Ford Crown Victoria were extremely well made. Police departments loved them because their frames were strong enough to push other cars around and the doors could stop gunshots. These cars died out in the late 2000s because of their large size and low fuel economy
And it was brand new.
The abuse that Carl took over the course of this movie was just as mind-blowing!
Those old Chevy Caprices and Ford Crown Vics were like tanks.
His car is all bust up already because of those Monkeys and Van Pelt destroyed it.
I love how he just accepts the fact a giant vine just crushed his car. "Fine take it."😂😂
I mean what else could he have done. Jump in there and punch it in the face?
And the plant in a way you can imagine it raspberrying at him as a response 😝 makes sense?
I mean, it's already faced so much abuse at this point of the movie, he just gives up lol.
I mean what the hell is he really supposed to do about it at that point? 😂😂
@@routeterror1236so funny back
Lmao.....he pulls up like that and with the most serious concern on his face...
"Is there a problem maam?"
As his car backfires
JUST WHAT I THOUGHT HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHA
Can I have a ride home?
Serve and protect! 😄
him freaking out is so... epic
""I know!!!! Right!!!! I would. Be doing the same thing!!""
HE GOES LIKE AAHAHADADADA GEETTITTT 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 LOL HILARIOUS SCENE 0:20
Ain't NEVER gettin old!!!!! XD
Yeah, also if you look closely when he jumps out, he never unbuckles his seatbelt.
FINE TAKE IT!!!!!!
Fine! Take it!
The guy has been having a very hard day
Greatest line ever....
Carl: Shit 💩
After the plant already took it 😂😂😂
Carl's insurance is NEVER going to believe this...
Or his boss
It doesn't matter cause the timeline was reversed anyway so no problem haha
lol Valentin Zukovsky
@@valkiron11 Yeah, you know him?
I gave him the limp
Well is a company vehicle so it's covered by the police department.
"Fine! Take it!"
It's so funny when the cop says "Fine! Take it!!" and I can't stop laughing. 😀😄😄😄😄😁😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Lol it was nothing he could do
0:20 Funny Scream.
Tail me about it, It Kills me to watch it.
0:47 FINE!!! TAKE IT!!!
Love that line. Plus, I feel bad for his car. It suffered so much!
That Caprice had been through enough
Also the added joke that it was brand new.
That plant ended the car's suffering
First Alan, then monkeys, then Van Pelt, then Alan again, then monster plants.
This cop just really had a bad day.
Same here
Even though David Grier and Bebe Neuwirth had minor roles, this movie would NEVER have been the same without them.
0:20 LMFAO
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
This movie is so great, from the comedic genius of Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunts great acting and David Alan Griers silliness. I love this scene. LOL
0:20 when you're so scared you try to say something but it just comes out as gibberish
The unconditional love karl felt for this car was the funniest part of the movie
Problem cause damage to you. No police property would probably come out of a salary.
*Plant effortlessly bends car in half and drags it into the woods"
Cop: ... FINE! TAKE IT!
I love this movie
"Fine! Take it!" My favorite line from Carl!
Yellow Plant: " Mmmm, tasty metal!"
Car: "Mommy!😢!!!"
Dude this scene is one of the best in the movie
100% and at the end when the croc goes passed them while they're holding on to the door haha
Well, that car was getting banged up and beaten anyway.
Indeed, it had to be finished off
I feel sorry for beaten up cop car that was a waste of it

Now how will Carl save 15% on his car insurance? Geico reference! LOL

Those old land boat police cruisers were built to last
Every time I see this scene I can’t help but laugh hysterically!
He always reacts funny just like in Blankman.
This will forever be a classic😂😂😂😂😂
it kills me with laughter everything that happens to the poor car in the course of the movie and the police does not know what is happening, I love this movie! LOL
Me: FINE! TAKE IT!!
When it touches his face it's like when a bee goes near you 🤣
THE CAR DID NOTHING WRONG
No. But it was like destroyed.
At least he wasn’t handcuffed to the car anymore!
Lmaooo. That car been to Hell and back with him

😂😂😂😂 I know I agree it went thru a lot 😅
Why did i always laugh so hard about her reaction of the destoyed police car and the look on his face like erverything is normal.
R.I.P. car! You’ve done your duty and kept going!
Carl's squad car had better character development than the entire cast of new Jumanji
Umm no and this is coming from someone who likes the original more
Agreed
❤❤❤❤

Carl and Nora wouldn’t be going to the old Parrish place by foot if the vine didn’t take the police car away
Not me thinking of this scene in a coffee shop, looking it up on TH-cam, and end up having to try to stifle hysterical laughter. This scene is the best.
He should’ve grabbed the shotgun.
Definitely
This is my fav sceen of all time in the first jumanji
This is why the phenomenal board game that brings strange realities that can possibly manipulate timelines all the time
While Nora now owns a restaurant, I wonder what Carl Bentley is doing now.
They implied at the end that he became Alan's business partner and they manufactured his shoes to success.
He, the sole man, became the inventor of sneakers (that was his design in 1969) and helped Parrish Shoes grow exponentially.

It would've been twice as hilarious if that was Anthony Anderson. He would've had the Same reaction to those Vines.
so many classic scenes like this one

Do you guys think the vines that took the car belonged to a pod plant like the one that tried to eat Peter earlier
