I could see a plot line about the Manoirs being so out-of-touch/wealthy that investing in a machine that restores food to a hydrated state has no value to them. Bunny or Nanette could sneer about how it doesn't turn grapes into pearls (or if we're going to be fair, cufflinks for Mr. Manoir. Men can get fussy about their jewelry too). The trite ending of intentional sabotage because something something salt of the earth isn't as much of a twist as people think it is anymore.
If putting up with people you hate is your cup of tea, may I recommend "The Man who Came to Dinner".

00:25 I actually don't really remember the ending of this one, only the general plot, so now I'm interested to hear what you don't like about it. I was actually kinda looking forward to this episode, because I do like the Manoirs as characters and am happy to see them get a more prominent role in an episode and even become victims in the revenge fantasy, if I remember correctly.
00:57 Seriously, are there no fancy restaurants in Tapwater Springs? I have a hard time imagining that the Manoirs would voluntarily set foot in what always comes across like a complete and utter rat hole to me. Like, I'm sure the pizza is great, but it's definitely NOT fancy and posh.

10:43 Yeah, you are kinda right about that. I get his point, but it's not like he's completely selling out or anything, he's just afraid they'll end up just like the Manoirs, and seems like a bit of a stretch to me.
12:40 I mean, would it even have changed the status quo much? Mr. Anaconda and Mr. Manoir have done business before after all. I don't know, I feel like for this kind of ending to work, you have to do a much better job of selling the idea to the audience that Mr. Anaconda not making the deal with the Manoirs is the better outcome. And that doesn*t really come across to me. It also seems like a waste of a pretty good invention.

Honestly though, aside from the ending, this episode is a real highlight for me and now probably one of my new favorites. Probably the best showcase of the Manoirs as characters.

It's kind of a shame the ending drags the episode down like that :-( Would this be an episode you'd consider rewriting?
It’s one of the best set-ups for sure because there are so many comedic possibilities. I love Nanette’s family and the character moments between the two families, but can’t get past the ending. Yes, this is absolutely one I’d rewrite.
Mr Manoir definitely seems the least horrible of the three as he comes across like a genuinely successful businessman who is also part of a money-status culture as opposed to a trust-fund baby who never truly earned anything. I also love the old-timey way he talks, especially how he says AnaconDAH
Bunny Manoir has the potential to be a love-to-hate character in a similar vein to Nanette.
And Angela forced to play nice with Nanette in her home is such a funny idea. I would have liked to see the two families forced to interact more.
@@amazzonkane This is one of those times where I think the ten minutes run time limits the storytelling. With a longer runtime, you could both have more fun with the interactions between the two families as well as a better developed and satisfying ending.
@@Chriz815 I can see it. I can also see this being one of the funniest episodes with 11 minutes if it were a little more focused. Plus this this setup working in a variety of environments.

I love how she straight up ignores the non serious comments. I really gotta respect that. She most likely knows and just isn't paying attention and is just letting the views fuel the algorithm beast.

I hope they remember the first Time on a monitor,back side,frontal side emotional and etc,some animations,never change,i mean wherever,3D animations in 2D style.,well i hope those kids remember that draw work.
I Still remember Rugrats first impresion,It was sick but good,cause even like Angela,they was good first step animation with style,back side little characters with personality,Is that like the media spirit?
I especially dislike cop-out endings. Like in "Troop or Consequences" all they had to do was remove that final punchline where its revealed he isn't actually a hero.
"The List" is one where she could've taken responsibility for her actions instead of the list being destroyed, because having Angela admit to her friends that she meant to hurt their feelings and apologizing to them could be a great way to test their friendship.
Yeah, sadly the show has a few cop out endings which really kill the episode.
Good news is that those same episode often have good ideas that can (and should) be rewritten and redone.
I can definitely see why you didn’t like the ending. But I want to add a cliche if it isn’t one, called the closet avalanche cliche. When people stuff everything into a closet and when it opens, everything falls out. I like that gag, but I wonder if it could be considered a cliche at this point? I’m not sure how you could change the ending of this and make it work. But we definitely feel more sane watching your videos.
You know, that’s not a gag I’ve paid a lot of attention to. I’ve seen it before, but I don’t think it’s overdone.
If you like the gag, nothings wrong with it. I love how it’s done here because I get a good sense of the day to day chaos in the Anaconda house.
I mention two potential solutions in the video but could have been a little clearer.
a) the invention works perfectly but Mr Manoir still rejects it. The Anaconda have to simply deal with rejection because that’s life.
b) Mr Anaconda sells the rights off to the invention off to avoid having to deal with the Manoirs and assures Angela that they won’t become like the Manoirs because they have different priorities (saving for college, fixing the house etc)
