Damo complete miss, you can see moore reaching for the ball also his body is completely vertical making it hard to take out someone's legs also he did the same thing in the first quarter to great success.
Moore was competing for the ball and if kozzy had also competed for the ball it would've been a ball up or melbourne goal.
Daicos is an absolute gun and shouldn't receive any hate, but what I can't stand is the commentators absolutely fawning over literally every move he makes. He missed a handball on the weekend and BT called it brilliant.
That's just what commentators do with the top players, always has been. Go watch a game with cripps or the bont. Or go back 5 years and watch games with dusty or danger. Or go back back 10 years and watch ablest jnr play. Commentary always gets on the sacks of these players because they are easy to talk about
As a Fremantle supporter, love what the Daicos boys do on the field. Heck if Nick wins the Brownlow Medal, maybe not this year or maybe the next two years, hell yeah cool with it.

i know youre not hating but for the H&A season he's equal 2nd for disposals, equal 4th score involvements, in top 50 for tackles and 4th for contested possesions. Beating Bont in a lot of these areas including contested possessions and disposals. What more could he possibly need to be doing in order for you to say he's "there"?

That does not mean he has not had a great season or that he is a favourite for a Brownlow and rightly so, I’m just not in the camp of calling him A Great - yet.

Made it even worse when we were playing well good exciting brand of footy while knocking teams over in close ones and opposition supporters started to love watching us play and said we were likeable now. Until we got so good we were clear top 4 to minor premiers that's when the hate started again 😂

The discussion regarding the Moore and Pickett situation is illogical.
How many times does a player choosing to bump need to concuss another player in 2024, and get rubbed out for multiple weeks, for the media to figure it out?? The AFL gives zero f*cks about what the concussed player was doing.

These Commentators need a reality check, look at it this way, who was the player actually trying to go and do something with the ball by attacking it and trying to knock it on to a team mate, what's Picket doing, once again trying his best to take out an opposition player which he's renowned for. Probably got what he deserved and needs to take that out of his game, he's far to good for that type of weak effort and wastes opportunities for his team in doing so.
He's not the only one at Collingwood who gets away with frees that should be paid against him. Don't just single Nick out.
Telling people to stop doing something regardless how stupid it is, only puts fuels it on e.g the booing of Goodes
The reason a lot of people bag Daicos because of the media constantly hyping him. It is completely disproportionate to every other good player in the competition.

The kid has had a solid year, he started in the backline, was moved around a lot and finished in the midfield. He has done about as was expected for a gun first round pick and frankly, if the umpires opened their eyes and judged him fairly he should have gotten way more free kicks, he was held of the ball every week, his attempts to mark were often deliberately impeded by players bumping into him as he began to jump..... WCE should have taken his poor treatment up with the AFL umpires but they chose not to. The kid did well his first year... re your comment ''he doesn't train hard enough'', you're clearly an expert, just clarify for me, how many AFL games did you play??

Whos critising him? Hes a great footballer but a midfielder and theres heaps of good ones. The ff from gws has had easily the best year, if nick could kick 70 at ff he would be playing there. Hmm...havent seen the team free kick stats for 2 weeks but as at the end of round 22 Collingwood had received 392 free kicks for & Nth Melbourne 386.
Individually - Daicos for the entire 2024 H&A season received 33 free kicks (average 1.7 per game) for and gave away 36 free kicks against.
Tristan Xerri -Nth Melbourne - received 54 free kicks (average of 2.35 per game) - the 2nd highest in the AFL in 2024.
Top free kick for team & players were the Gold Coast Suns,
Matty Rowell (Gold Coast) received the most - 55 free kicks (average 2.39 per game) -
Paddy Cripps (Carlton) 48 frees for (average 2.09 frees for per game)
