Nice suggestions to create openings!
Perfect !!!!
Great video as always. Very useful tips so I will try them out tomorrow in sparring!
The slapping is not bad, but useless on a person that trains counters and has equal or better range. Basically any boxer or fighter with more than a year of actual fighting experience. General rule of thumb, if you can touch them, they can touch you. So if you’re wasting time and energy on moving their hands. They can utilize the opening you created on yourself to aim straight for your face.
But that’s with any technique mate, anything can be countered, it’s all about timing and feints. The techniques shown in this video are actually quite effective even at a pretty high level, depends on you though, do what works for you
Go watch Alex Pereira. He drills stuff like this all the time and is considered the best striker in the UFC and Glory.
Lomachenko has used this in fights against people with a bit more than a year of training lol isreal adysena has used it and landed off it in ufc title fights. Jon linkear got a ko off doing one of these not too long ago.
Joe Louis had one of his best knockouts with this. Guard manipulations work, old school boxing.
Foreman, Duran etc
