Love this song and love the meaning behind it. This song was written about a kid that lost his life in a fatal car accident on 10/2/04. I know this because that kid who was 16 years old at the time, was my kid brothers best friend. My kid brother and my cousin was in the vehicle when they were involved in that fatal car accident. If you search you can find interviews with the song-writer, who says that he wrote it in a year when 2 deaths of people close to him occurred... one was his grandmother, and the other was the kid you're referring to. His grandma passed away first, and he thought that the strength that she taught him helped him get through the death of his friend, and he was distraught that he couldn't tell her that

@thebrianwilson they do, I was at a live show last night. Bryan was sick.. so the guitarist from Sparks the Rescue filled in for him. And Tyler left the band, so depressing lol. Cody drowns out a lot of the band lol
