The day I heard this song I cried like a baby. My wife is a stay at home mom (financial decision) until all 3 kids are in school. She's not an indoors type. She loves the sunlight and warmth. Where we live, winters are very cold and long. Quite depressing actually. She changes when the seasons do. Winter is a dark time for her. She's tired, quiet and just not excited about much. When springtime comes, she's a whole new person. Literally the most enthusiastic, happy, peaceful person. This last winter was very tough for us mentally for many reasons. I heard this song on a 50 degree sunny spring day. I called her and she was already outside just soaking it up. She got her pink cloud summer.
Is your wife me ??? I'm the same. Have two kiddos and a stay at home mom. Last winter we had moved to a new place, it was rural and no way to drive anywhere, I was pregnant with a toddler. I was so miserable, didn't have any family close by. It was so hard. This song got me through it. We welcomed our second baby this past April and named her Solana, sol for short which is sun in Spanish. Because she's our sunshine, and I absolutely was influenced by this song. I'm the same as your wife. Never liked summer but as I get older it's the most magical time with my kids. Winter is lonely and isolating, always indoors. I hope she's ok this winter. Big hugs to your family
Dude, the singer's confidence and vocals have blown up and are so much better than the older versions where he wouldn't hit the high notes and the screaming part as good as this. This version is amazing
@@samuelwallace2427 At the highest level of any field, mitigating risk is paramount in a live setting. Whether you're a basketball player, a competition weight lifter, a professional gamer, or a musician, it is almost always in your best interest to do what is "safe." When you're performing for a crown, you can take all the risks you want. I do not blame the guy at all for doing the easy stuff when performing live (but I totally empathize with your disappointment. I love a good live performance. It's magic.)
@@samuelwallace2427 I've only gotten to see them once in Seattle, but out of all the concerts I've been to. It was by far my favorite. That was back in 2019 I think. Favorite performance I've experienced.
"and you were that honeysuckle breeze." I don't know if everyone listening knows exactly how great that line is. Possibly the most romantic line ever written
Every time I hear about the fact that they were signed after one show, it blows my mind. It doesn’t even seem to make sense. And then I watch a live performance of them like this, and it all makes sense. These guys are unmatchable.
This song was my savior anthem in my worst suicide attempt… It helps me a lot in my depression… thank you, the lyrics are really REALLY meaningful to me
Hearing this song used to be a trigger for me. I avoided it for so long because of the memories attached to it. I’m soo happy I’m in a place again to appreciate the masterpiece it is.
I can relate completely. I found this band pretty late (2019) and began listening to this whole album right after my mom passed from cancer and while the album was huge in helping me, it also for a long time reminded me of how horrible the immediate months were afterwards. But also as someone who has been clinically depressed for 15+ years and who suffers from BPD and more, this album is way too relatable and plain good to stay away from so I’m stoked I can handle listening to it again! Almost feels new💜 Forgive my book, I hope you are well please take care!
@@Weather_Nerd that’s the thing about music. It can stir up old demons or heal wounds that you didn’t think were something you can repair. The mental anguish can be a hard hole to climb outta of. I’m glad you’re honoring your mother with this beautiful piece of music.
The song just reminds me of a dumb boy I dated who recommended this and then broke up a few weeks after bc he didn't like that much. So it's not terrible it's just a bittersweet feeling 🥲.
Postpartum depression almost took me out, but I’ve finally got my pink cloud summer ☁️💖 here’s your reminder that the sunrise will come again, and you’ll be just fine.
My wife battled postpartum depression with both of our kids. God sees you and is there if you call on him with a humble heart. May God bless you and yours 🙏✝️🙏🌅: Matthew 11:28-30 NLT [28] Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
The song that made me a solid fan. From feel something and now to No good left to give. Im still enjoying every masterpiece they composed. Movements never disappoint!
You guys have yourself a rare drummer whos a musician that talks with their drums. It's hard to find music where the drummer really adds great lines and patterns that speak to the song. Too many just play a beat. Lovin the music guys
My father side of the family including my father all had a serious pill addiction when I was growing up. I’m the last surviving member who is not dead, a felon or an addict. I have worked so hard to get away from that and it’s paid off. It’s still surreal to look back at all of it and see myself where I am now. This song really hits me hard and at the same time motivates
Outside for the first time in a long time Lose yourself sink into the sunlight It's been a while since you felt right But the warm nights are coming soon and you'll be just fine You'll be just fine You'll be just fine Outside for the first time in a long time You said you can't remember what it's like To feel more than cold on the inside But the sunrise will come again and you'll be just fine You'll be just fine I think it's time you had a pink cloud summer 'Cause you've gone too long without a smile I think it's time you found another reason to stay for a while You should stay for a while I sit and watch now with new eyes for the green side Lose myself sink into your sunlight Breath in the breeze like a sweet sigh Keep me tongue-tied If this lasts forever, I'll be just fine Oh, I'll be just fine You are the rustling of leaves And you are that honeysuckle breeze You are the sunlight, shine on to me Shine on to me, shine on to me I think it's time you had a pink cloud summer 'Cause you've gone too long without a smile I think it's time you found another reason to stay for a while And I think it's time you gave yourself a little colour I don't know much but I hear that red's in style I think it's time you had another reason to stay for a while I think it's time you had a pink cloud summer 'Cause you've gone too long without a smile I think it's time you found another reason to stay for a while
This band really is fantastic. This guitar has this more alternative sound with dissonant notes, the simple drums, but which fill the entire song, the bass lines and all the tenderness delivered by guitar 2 with this guy with a perfect vocal. Everything is truly a masterpiece in its purest state of art. This refrain makes me travel far.
somebody had left me with a jukebox he had made where Daylily is one of the songs that put. this song gave me too much emotions and feeling ever since, there's a longing and pain overlapping every time I listen to this song.
This song kicks so much ass . I’ve always had that one song that keeps me searching for the light at the end of the tunnel in tough times . Whether it’s Mentally, physically , financially ETC . This one takes the cake by a landslide . Keep pushing
This song made all your Filipino fans break down in tears(myself included). Depression and mental health issues in general is sadly a common occurrence due to how hard life can be here. This song goes on the same playlist as Hold On Till May(PTV), Drunk(Dayseeker), We Are(Ambition Live Ver. by ONE OK ROCK), ect.
You guys are absolutely amazing! This is the first song I ever heard from Movements. My wife just left me, the pandemic was just shutting down my state (Fl -.-) and this whole cd got me through one of the hardest and best times of my life.
This song lives rent free in my head and I can’t even be mad. My alcoholism has gotten the better of me, and I was just let go from my job. But I think it’s time I had a pink cloud summer. Thank you 🙏🏽
Even in this very nominal moment, as I'm typing this; I sadly do admit I hadn't a single mote of honest faith; eternal and unmoving, on one pedestal nor the other, on my true absolute introspective acceptance, had the belief equal out the desire; and eternally vice versa.
This song was the very first song I heard from you guys. I was instantly hooked and now, years later, there isn't a song I don't like or relate to. Y'all are amazing! Keep up all the great work!!! Oh and thank you!
Patrick’s voice transcends me into another dimension bro. Swear, Daylily and No Silhouette have helped me so much, forcing myself to do things that I wouldn’t have before because I’m always afraid of judgment. Movements man.
I remember that I met these guys for the song "protection". When they were still in dreambound if I remember correctly. Back in 2015. I was about 16 years old, now I'm almost 25, I work and study a university degree, bro, how life goes by so fast...
Thanks, Movements. Some time ago, my wife went through a difficult, dark period that seemed to have no end. At some point I thought that she could not help in any way, I felt lost and was looking for ways to solve it, somehow this song helped me understand my emotions.
This song is my drive down the road and “feel” song played it at work the other day, as I was screaming the lyrics one of my coworkers kindly reminded me to keep my day job. Whatever, movements is the best.
This man can seriously sing. This song is perfectly fit for it too. Some of the other songs they have I don’t care for the vocals but this song is leveled perfectly. So good live!!
This is my go to song when I'm sad. It got a lot of meaning to me when I've seen and heard you guys play it live. This song keeps me positive and believe that things will get better. 😢
First song I ever heard by Movements and I've been a fan ever since. Beautiful lyrics and a group of musicians that work so so well together. Just a great band overall.
A certified hood classic.
True!!!
Lol facts 💙
Yeah man seriously
AMEN
You’re so real for that😭😭 facts
This is the song that made me a movements fan. The passion, the lyrics, everything. They’re so fucking good
Agree!
Same
Same here. The chorus is what really got me hooked.
Same. When I first found Daylily 4 years ago, I was immediately hooked.
I think it just might be because they put it at then end of their set usually when he's tired

Idk looking at vids from like 3 years ago he was still good/ at the same level he is now. He's always crushed it lmao
its clearly edited...
He did great here but kinda disappointing he cant sing the same notes as the studio version even one time for a live studio performance

That's a man in love, right there.
I was thinking this exact same thing this morning.
for the longest time I thought he was saying " and you WANT that honeysuckle breeze". Both impacted me equally
Exactly how great is this line?
Absolutely love that part in the song love the smell of honeysuckle too
this song reminds me of my best friend who died by suicide in december 2021. she deserved so many pink cloud summers.
Sorry for your loss friend 🙏✝️🙏
“ i think it’s time you found anoiithurrr “ just hits different

Happy to hear you’re still here, keep fighting.
Hey, Pal! You should stay for a while.
I’m happy your still here too. Keep jamming buddy.
thank you for staying
This and full circle saved me for sure

Can’t wait … please play this song at Chile 🥹
Outside for the first time in a long time
Lose yourself sink into the sunlight
It's been a while since you felt right
But the warm nights are coming soon and you'll be just fine
You'll be just fine
You'll be just fine
Outside for the first time in a long time
You said you can't remember what it's like
To feel more than cold on the inside
But the sunrise will come again and you'll be just fine
You'll be just fine
I think it's time you had a pink cloud summer
'Cause you've gone too long without a smile
I think it's time you found another reason to stay for a while
You should stay for a while
I sit and watch now with new eyes for the green side
Lose myself sink into your sunlight
Breath in the breeze like a sweet sigh
Keep me tongue-tied
If this lasts forever, I'll be just fine
Oh, I'll be just fine
You are the rustling of leaves
And you are that honeysuckle breeze
You are the sunlight, shine on to me
Shine on to me, shine on to me
I think it's time you had a pink cloud summer
'Cause you've gone too long without a smile
I think it's time you found another reason to stay for a while
And I think it's time you gave yourself a little colour
I don't know much but I hear that red's in style
I think it's time you had another reason to stay for a while
I think it's time you had a pink cloud summer
'Cause you've gone too long without a smile
I think it's time you found another reason to stay for a while
Listen with headphones or loud in your car. Totally different experience.
