She was a really good character she did sleep around but what I liked about her character was when she was there for Little Mo when she was raped. She supported Little Mo and her backstory about her mother was tragic.
Kate did grass phil up to the bill in the end . Phil should strongly think why he lost Louise and Ben because of his behaviour which has driven people away

I think whole period of 1999-2003 was phil at his darkest, period from after when both Kathy and Grant left, everything he did which led to him being shot and the few years after that made him a nutter back then!
2002 post Steve owen death to 2003, was definitely his most menacing look, before that he still look like the calm and reasonable Phil in the 90s but with grants personality, late 2005 he just got really fat and just lost that aura.

Not necessarily, she would have had some self defense training but in reality self defense and martial arts is usually only effective when you train at it at competitive level for many years. And even at that the best prolonged training at it isn't always enough to help you in a street fight or when the opponent is bigger and stronger. It makes me laugh[with despair] when I see advertisements for 6 sessions of self defense classes when it really doesn't work like that and it's a dangerous lie to sell. It's like thinking people can be trained to be at professional level football or golf after a few training sessions. Self defense classes of several sessions or over any fixed period are pointless and ineffective and benefits will be minimal because it's something that takes years to master. So in reality a typical cop like Kate wouldn't stand a chance again Phil in a physical situation or indeed against most men unless she'd being trained in self defense or martial arts for years. Most cops would just have the same ability to fight/defend themselves as the general public do, they aren't trained in self defense to any competent standard- same goes for prison officers and the likes. They are given a very basic training of it which again is pretty ineffective but physical attacks against cops and prison officers are thankfully not that common because they usually work in large enough numbers to bring the person down and most people won't risk it for that very reason as well as knowing that they'll pay the price after in terms of punishment. If you don't believe me go to a group of self defense classes and then go pick a fight with the biggest bloke on the street.
Kate was an underrated badass, they should bring her back
She was a crowd favorite...how does that translate to being "underrated"? [I'll answer for you - it doesn't.]

This is the Steve McFadden I miss. God, just look at how great the acting is 💯
