Good video. I appreciate you tell us the size of drain plug. Its hard for an old man to get up and down trying to find the right size. God bless you.

Thanks for recording this! It’s so helpful to have a visual before jumping into a project.

FYI for 2021 models, Kawasaki put in a panel to access the oil filter, it’s secured by four Phillips head screws. Made life a lot easier.

Very good instructions. Thanks for giving advice on reaching the filter without removing the seat... What a pain in the @$$ that is!

It’s amazing they would devise such a complicated process to change a filter

So...if the last person tightened the heck out of the oil filter, what tool can be used to loosen it? Great video, by the way.

Harbor Freight sells an oil filter wrench, hinged to adjust to any size filter. You need good access to reach the filter but it works like dynamite.
      Good luck.

I still had to take the seat out. The old filter was so tight I needed a big pair of channel locks to get it loos.

Exactly what I had to do

Dealers tend to over tighten them

What's the difference between atv10w40 and motorcycle 10w40? I though both would work fine with mules? Also, do not overfill these mules even in the slightest. They will run, but as soon as they are warm they will die while idling. I heard change oil every 100 hours unless you do a lot of starting and stopping. Then change every 50. What did you hear?

Thanks for the post. The formulations are slightly different for the different applications. AMSOIL recommends following the manufacturer oil change interval which is 100 hours.

How many months can or should I go between oil changes if only using 30 hours per year? I know it's a 100 hours, but should I still change every year? I have a 2018 mule pro fxt and use Kawasaki oil. Thanks
