to be honest they put more effort on the bromance relationship between Wei Ying and lan zhan that what made the whole s3 looks better than the previous seasons at least for me and i see this as an absolute win for novel/manhua readers ^^
I definitely agree. I feel like s1/2 was just a mess with everything that was happening since it was so rushed (although the anime in general was rushed) and a lot of details were cut, but s3 actually makes sense and the bromance between them is actually developing quite beautifully😄

@Blue Eyes I think they did that so we can focus on just the important juniors. After all, in the novel they just mention Lan Jingyi, Lan Shizui, Jin Ling and Ouyan Zizhen.

Season 3 makes more sense Because s1 and s2 were basically building the plot, all conspiracy theories are being revealed in s3 which is finally making sense. That means s3 looks good because s1 and s2 had properly conveyed the utter confusion of why there were so many different stories being told. S3 is just connecting those loose ends.

While the mdzs has good plot and story and everything, of all the versions of it available, I really really prefer the anime, cuz the emotion delivered is amazingly executed, I love the voice actors for that, I could feel everyone's emotion from my heart and that's the main thing ud want in a movie or anime, also Chinese is very pleasant to hear, especially since they all speak extra elegant, and the action scenes are done very nicely too

you're telling me that you all recognize and consider bromance mdzs’ donghua while I fully consider it BL even it still has a censorship but it's more bold than live-action that's why. here's my reasons why I think it's not bromance but fully bl even has a censorship. reasons (I'm lazy) ; the way they look at each other, especially wangji,the interactions,the cares they give w each other,the way they took care of other person,the trust between the two of them,that they do what they wanted them to do,wangji being overprotective to wwx,that he still believes in him,stands by him,took care of him,believing in him,spoiling him,and many more this will be an essay if I say it all and some feelings that I can't address and out it on right words,that can't find any words that will fit what I felt watching them. like it's everything. ok enough I really love them,so much.
