Hi Fayida! I have been fascinated for some years about Afro-Mexicano culture...I knew about this freedom fighter. As mentioned in other comments, many Mexicans and people in general, are unaware of the substantial presence of Afro-Mexicanos in numerous communities and states in Mexico, such as Costa Chica, Oaxaca and Guerrero. I think it is agreed that a longer video version of African influence, presence and current contribution would be great subject matter, if you are so inclined. 😉😚As always, you make us so proud! Thank you and blessings always! 🙏🏼

Most Mexicans don’t even know this history 🤦🏾‍♂️

Actually we do there’s just so much Mexican history it’s only normal people haven’t covered it, not a lot of Mexicans are aware of the Irish soldiers of saint Patrick either but I know my country’s history like the back of my hand so don’t speak for everyone, the fact that you even made such a rhetorical statement about “Gaspar Yanga” and “MOST”Mexicans not knowing about it goes to demonstrate that there are ignorant woke imbeciles out there speaking for everyone and spreading misinformation on behalf of the population 😂.

Make a video about so-called Afro-Mexicans. They also are descended from Aztecs and Mayans

    • @CrazyTwoSix

Did you just say that the Aztecs/Mayans were black? there are still Indigenous people who speak Nahuatl and Mayan non of them are black or mixed black.

A Mexican man built a pyramid with his own hands n no modern tools as the Aztec, did a few years ago.. Said a voice told him to do it or else he's be killed or in honor of that who spared his life or whatever.. So if there's a will, there's a way..

I’m tired of their woke Yankee bs too they literally want to splinter Mexican ethnic groups because they everything is black and white to them,
That’s why foreigners in Mexico should learn some history before even speaking on my country 🇲🇽
