hello,ive just took delivery of my new db-01 and it needs a firmware update ,as do you need a stereo jack or a mono 1 for this odd way of updates in this day and age of usb /sd cards and internet,a quick video would b really useful?.thanks ,as some very informative info here 4 an awesome bass machine ...
This video is an older firmware version update but the method is exactly the same: th-cam.com/video/0DM_n267Nno/w-d-xo.html There's some useful comments there as well about varying the FM level. Mine worked at 9 o'clock, others seem to have had success at 2 or 3 o'clock.

hi richard ! today i figured out my db-01 have a pitch issue... i can change it with the screw under the fm knob but it is just fine for one note and then the scale gradually going out of tune ... have you an idea for a solution ? I can't have have clean scale or just trust any notes i choose.. Thank you for your videos you are verry inspiring and the quality of your guides is awesome !! sorry for my bad english ^^
I wouldn't be turning that screw! It gives me horrible memories of trying to tune and recalibrate an old Pro-One - a full afternoon of torture. On both my DB-01s that screw is aligned so that the horizontal thread points at the outside edge of the white markings on the FM knob - so about 10 o'clock. I'd put it there and then go into the main config menu (Shift and Oct up). The third lit button from the rightside is then "CAL" for calibrate. Hit the left "select" button and run the unit's calibration. Only takes about 30 seconds. My units have sometimes gone out of tune, and if I was playing live I'd always run this when warmed up and before starting just to be sure. This should solve your issue. If that fails then then I'd do a factory reset. I once stuffed up the tuning somehow on one of mine by cross-feeding CV, the thing was complete chaos. A factory reset got everything back to normal.

Eigentlich frag ich gar nicht nach, wann Sie wo, welche interessante Tiefen aus der Wunderkiste ausforschen. 🙂 Halt eben wie eine Wundertüte.
:) Ich habe mich gefragt, wie lange es sich schon heimlich versteckt hat. Vielleicht lohnt es sich, die Pads auf der Suche nach mehr zu durchstöbern.
