I never cared for Koi but yours look awesome. Peaked my interest for sure. My humble recommendation would be to add fish when lights are out with minial ambient light. In my experience, no one picks on then at night so gives them time to get more familiar with the tank and hiding spots for when the lights do come back on, they know there way around to hide and swim away. Looking good though! 🔥👌💯✌️ Pyramids are my favorite.
Not sure if you watch the channel "The Fish Corner" he does this cool little thing with air line that slowly pours water into the bucket with the fish to acclimate them to the water parameters and temp. That sure is one BEAUTIFUL tank bro. Cool that none of them got murdered. Probably the yellow pyramid.
Koi fish always going to be my favorite, but the blue face is the fish that got me into the hoppy. I really want a blue face but not sure with corals. tanks looking great .
How’s the new fish doing? It’s nice to see your journey with this tank. I can’t decide between the frag 175.6, 230.6, or the 190.5. Any suggestions or insight?
Definitely at least a 6' foot for the fishy to swim around. So it leaves 175.6/230.6. I personally don't like tall tanks (can't touch the bottom without a chair or something). But if you plan on growing large sps/acros colonies, go with the 230.6 for height and room to grow. New fish are still alive, a bit of fighting but nothing too bad.
Black storm clown fish very nice
Love black storms

Good point on the night vs day time addition.

I had a acclimation line somewhere, but couldn't find it. The yellow pyramids has always been up there as one of my favorite fish.

I love the blueface and hoping it'll be good! Thanks!

Thanks! gonna go with the 175.6. What pump are you using, and should I get three or two Xr30 Blues?@@PurelyAquatic
Could you do an equipment video of all your apex and gear, plus what you would add? @@PurelyAquatic
@@Sonny__b You can get away with x2 XR30 depending on what you're keeping. 3 would be ideal. As for the pump, I'm using the Ecotech L1
What rule do you use to know how many fish your tank and setup can handle?
I really don't have a rule that I follow for stocking the tank. Just by eye maybe?
add a mirror for the aggression
I was going to do this if it got bad. But so far its good. The aggression is very low now.
