And one other thing I would suggest is making sure that your snow pants your bibs or your snow suit has vents because those vents will keep you from overheating and with your snowboard jacket make sure to look for one that has a goggles pocket, pass pocket powder skirting, and pit vents so that you're able to keep the snow out but also able to keep yourself cool if you're jackets too hot a few other key features you might want to look for is media pockets and removable or non-removable hood choice preference there! Hope that helps and just thought I would share because all of my gear has all those features and I wouldn't buy gear without it because in the past I've worn jackets and snow pants and have overheated and had problems with it Snow has written up when I have fallen down and it's frustrating like you said but with the proper gear for snowboarding you don't have to deal with that problem because the pit bent and the paint vents keep you at the right temperature so that you're not overheating well yet still warm out there on those semi warm days on the slopes. Take care have a great rest of your day and be an incredible being well on the faces. Because you're worth it and you deserve it.

Just thought I would share but I have studied for many years in martial arts and in martial arts one of the key things they teach you is how to fall so I would suggest to go look up videos on how to fall because you want to keep your arms and your body in a good position when you're falling so that you can tuck in as much as possible and when I fall snowboarding I try and land with my body not outstretched but rather gently so I would definitely look into how you can fall safely kid cuz it ain't no fun when you fall wrong and break something 👍

I just thought I'd recommend this based on your video but posh market and eBay are really good places to pick up your snowboarding gear yes there are other great sites out there but as somebody who's been snowboarding for over 5 plus years I feel that spending the high-end money isn't really worth it unless you're a competitive athlete doing the sport so getting a deal on things is great and one of my favorite brands recently is Northwave snowboard boots because they blow my mind and are incredibly comfortable and come with loads of features! I have the North Wave Grace t track snowboard boots and they're the best boots for snowboarding I've ever owned. because northwave has a unique system that locks your heel in place so it can't rise up in your boot and I love how comfortable and cushiony the boots are they're also the ones that I have ordered are a medium flex which is nice and I love how they're articulated and not one solid piece which means as you flex they're less likely to break apart or get damaged. The other company that I'm emphatic with is Roxy due in part because Roxy makes really high-end quality gear and recently on eBay I purchased one of their amazing snowboard suits and it is hands down the best snowboard suit I have ever owned because in truth I like my one pieces for those cold days I also own a Roxy jacket and Roxy snow pants both I believe in medium and I ride Roxy board ☺️ and PS thank you for your video and also please do wear your helmet out there on the slopes because I do and don't forget your goggles got to protect the eyes

Don't forget your snowboard suit there's a lot of great companies that make them especially for snowboarding and skiing which means they're looser and not tight to the body and they actually provide better protection than bibs and a jacket or pants and there's some brands of jackets like I have a Roxy jacket with actual snaps that snapped the jacket to the snow pants which hang off the powder scrutin so that they become an all in one piece and the snow can't write up inside your jacket or get into your snow pants

For park riding it may be harder to control, but will work nicely for freestyle and all mountain.

I am 5'7 guy who weighs around 155-165 depending on the time of the year. I have two snowboards, one is a 154 and one is a 161 and both are freeride focused snowboards. I love my 154 for trees and power and the 161 for big steep terrain where your straight lining or doing wide drawn out turns. 147 should work perfectly fine since there are girls riding the low 150s at your same height.

Man I hate when someone says "X is a good brand" and leaves it at that. A little info would go a long way over just ones word for it.
