When I started to research cutting rubber, I couldn't find anyone else that had done it. I figured if I ruined one machine, I was okay since I have some spares 😂

You can't cut the clear acrylic for the stamps on the cricut sadly. Even if you had the knife blade for a maker it won't work :(

What else can you cut on the explore air 2, have you tried wood, leather and thick-ish acrylic? Could you make a video testing this hack on other materials?

Do you know if I can do this on a Cricut Joy? Or does it have to be one of the big ones?
If the Joy has a tool that has the deep cut blade, I'm assuming you can. But I've never seen a deep cut blade for that machine.
I had no clue I could cut rubber of I would have made a logo stamp a long time ago.
Let's be clear here LOL I didn't either HAHA I made the rubber stamp on my laser and had left over rubber. I said to myself "what happens if I cut this on the cricut" I looked at all my cricuts and then said "well if I break one, I have enough to spare, let's try it!" and it worked! 🤯
@ashleefalco although I love my P2 for a lot if things, the set up and use of my Cricut Maker and all the software bells and whistles, has me heading back to it again and again. Thanks for this video!
If I do this on my maker, I can't change the dial to custom setting. Will that still be ok? And can I use the knife blade instead?
I'm unsure about the knife blade, as I don't have a maker. But you can create your own custom settings for the maker, so that part isn't an issue.

I have to be honest, that's a lot of work for a stamp that doesn't even stamp well. I would probably skip the block and put some double stick tape on the rubber so that I could use my Misti....

Original explore doesn’t have moveable wheels
then what I would suggest is make sure your material is in between the rollers
I did not know but it doesn’t apply to me anyway, I don’t stamp.
I'm not a stamper either, but I love discovering new ways to use my Cricut just in case I ever wanted to get into stamping.
