I’m honestly surprised that Captain Falcon wasn’t one of the crossover characters. I mean they added this, Big Blue, and even the Blue Falcon! But not the man himself! Shame.
It's as if nintendo's developers desperately wants to make a brand new f-zero game but can't so they just had to add mute city, big blue, and the blue falcon but then some asshole within nintendo stopped them from adding captain falcon himself so they only got to add his mii costume.
It is pretty strange. F-zero and Mario Kart are literally sister series, Mario Kart exists because of F-zero, where the whole original premise was to make another F-zero type game on the SNES but with splitscreen and that evolved into Mario Kart. And there's been so much crossover, N64 Rainbow Road was in an F-zero game, the Blue Falcon has been in Mario Kart since MKWii, obviously there's all the representation in Mario Kart 8, but weirdly they haven't actually put Captain Falcon himself in the game yet, closest thing is a Mii outfit. Kinda weird considering the shared history, you'd think they would have included him alongside additions like Link and the Inklings since he makes more sense to add then either of them, but I guess not.
My friends driving instructor played this very song as a way of getting his students into a good mood for driving, and as a way of learning self discipline while driving. I would say good instructor.
