Conversations with Coach: Bob Stoops and Gary Patterson

Former Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops rolls out the first two episodes of "Conversations with Coach" today on Sellout Crowd.
These special presentations give Stoops a chance to catch up with his fellow coaches around the country, including former staff and opponents. In his first two episodes, dropping today and presented by 988, The Oklahoma Mental Health Helpline, Stoops spoke with TCU legend Gary Patterson.
Patterson is now retired, playing a lot of golf, making music and enjoying the success of his former program. Patterson and Stoops discuss the chaotic state of college football and what happens when you are the coach at a school that's just erected a statue of you next to the stadium.

Utah fan and alumn. Sure great to see both Coach Stoops and Coach Patterson. I was fortunate to be at a couple of those great Utah/TCU games in the Mountain West. Tremendous respect for those great Horned Frog teams. Betting USC would sacrifice an appendage to pair a Patterson D with that Riley O.

Man Bob Stoops is a certified OG. He was always strikingly handsome to my mom and a genius to me and my old man. We bonded as a family under Stoops. I love the guy.

Both these men were great coaches and a great addition to their respective teams. They are also fine human beings. Coach stoops had a lot of success there in Norman.
