This was a great breakdown of the deck! I hope more people see your channel. This was really well explained, you have a good voice for doing this, you communicated efficiently and the video wasn't super long. Great job! I hadn't been interested in GI before, but I definitely want to try it out now.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it 😊 You definitely should! You learn so many new approaches to playing SWU through using this deck, if you try it out then let me know how it goes!
GI has some great combos (especially with 5th Brother). Downside is that once your opponent knows what you are up to, it's quite easy to counter you. Still, GI decks are a lot of fun to play!
This was the base for what is now my favorite deck, I took the big cost cards away and put my hopes and dreams into winning fast or dying slowly Great work, nice way of going through the deck
@@Jchavez9 Thank you! And I’m pleased to hear that it helped :) I’m intrigued, what additional small cost units did you add in? And I love the idea of playing the deck that way!
@@SealeysonSW yea until set 3 comes out tarkin and GI are my favourite Characters as Leaders. Already built and played my Lurking Tie Tarkin Deck. Now waiting for the cards to arrive for my GI deck 🙏🏻 i appreciate that you still lean towards imperials in the deck instead of bounty hunters just because of set 2
@@ObiWanKainobi_III once set 3 drops I’ll be straight on the clone deck! I am actually looking into a Tarkin deck as we speak, how did you find him? Oooo exciting! You will have to let me know how you find the GI deck! And of course, got to fit the imperial theme with GI.
@@SealeysonSW yes me too 🤩 either a clone deck or jedi council with my favorite character ObiWan (if hes no leader i riot 😂). Tarkin deck is amazing for the price you get a very very competitive deck. Probably the most competitive deck i played yet (only playing for 4 weeks) for the best budget price (only 44€). @@Shoaty so I’m not sure when I will exactly be doing this list but I have had a Quick Look for you. There are a few changes I would make, I am thinking of going down the bounty Hunter route and adding in: Krrsantan, Jango Fett, and Toro Calican. All three of these work with GI’s ability and they all have nice bounty Hunter abilities you can capitalise on. To get those abilities online I was thinking of adding: Guild Target. Being able to play that for 0 cost, then playing out Jango, then getting him ready with GI’s ability and hitting for 6 damage is crazy!!! For space I was also looking at maybe chucking in: Punishing One. From the new set I was looking to add: Savage Opress (good finisher and he’s also a force unit), Devastating Gunship (An absolute must!!! This card is cracked within this deck), and I was thinning of playing around with Grim resolve (this one I’m not 100% sure on yet but it definitely has potential). Those are my thoughts at the moment. It is not fair making you wait around any longer so I hope this helps :) I am hoping I can get a new GI video out, but just in case I don’t I wanted to help you out!
Great video, thank you 👍 GI Is Fun to play always 😬 I'm surprised you didn't use Keep Fighting. What about to change it for Covert Strenght, I think the value of Keep Fighting is much bigger when you can ready the unit like Clan Challengers, Fifth Brother etc again 🤔
Thank you ☺️ it’s such a fun deck! So keep fighting is a card that I keep adding and taking awake from the deck, I find that both keep fighting and Covert strength are both strong cards for the deck and you can’t go wrong with either of them! I just personally found that covert strength ended up being more useful due to its 1 cost which can allow you to play a larger amount of cards each turn to try and win quickly. But like you said, keep fighting does have a lot of value within the deck and I will definitely be trying it out again within the deck at some point.
@@SW_Morika I did also think that but I wasn’t too sure on who to replace it with, got any suggestions? Keep in mind that it does work well with your inquisitors and can help them swing for a lot of damage!

I like the build. Not enough to swing me away from running Cunning GI, but I do feel like I need to go back and reevaluate my feelings on some of those events; maybe find some room for force throw and lightning. And have you started looking at some of the set 3 possibilities with exploit? Seems like there is potential to begin outpacing Sabine and double red Kylo. I think you are correct though and GI has the potential to become exceptionally fast with the new set!
@@SealeysonSW I’ve been running mono red GI with the bounty hunter package and find it’s really consistent and personally like it more than cunning GI. Cunning GI feels like you get a lot more value when you get everything lined up perfectly it’s just hard to get there. Sneak attack works great with raider and clan challengers. Surprise strike is also just a great card to run to get in 3 extra damage. I’m interested in trying your blue GI out. It doesn’t seem as fast and Aggro as most other GI decks.

@@jumbo2162 I think it’s a very strong card but it is a bit too slow for the main deck with how you are trying to play. With that being said, I like the idea of it being in your sideboard!! For those longer games and for against those more control based decks, it could definitely come in clutch! :)
