The GS size has an obvioisly white midsole while the adult size has a noticably darker midsole with a pink tint! I just noticed now that you had them side by side!

The pick up struggle was real. There were so many people who tried to pick up FCFS. I was able to secure raffles but would not have minded picking up extra pair. Too busy running around so I missed the live blog. In any case, spot on the comparison review. Always killing the styling section.

double got'em for resale despite taking big fat losses in retail market but well worth it- also copped a grade school-these were my first pair of jordan i ever bought from my hard earned summer job money back in the summer of 1991 before my junior year in high school, skyline senior 1993- i rode my bicycle to big town mall in mesquite texas since there was no bus route- i wore them for many years until they eventually wore out- 28 years later i finally own a pair and thinking about getting another pair- i wear them for style and these i would say these are my favorite jordans and these shoes mean something to me as i mentioned earlier has a sentimental value since my mom could not afford these expensive shoe so i went and bought them on my own since i owned pro wings shoes before i bought my own but did own a few adidas and the classic ivan lendl tennis shoes- all in all these shoes in my opinion is a 10- nice video and look forward to more - stay light and reach for the stars

No you made the right choice. The GS Pairs on the Carmines are inferior so you shouldn’t notice these on the adult 6.5. Congrats on copping them tho let me know what you think when they get in!
I got a sz 7 mens off a UK footsite. I can’t stand the way 7 youth looks. Ppl don’t understand there is a huge difference in feel and look of a 7 mens compared to 7Y. Glad u did this comparison so ppl can really see the difference in the 2

I always have to get gs sizes. I really hate the height difference when it comes to the Jordan ones highs. The always look like mids. I also get mad when I don’t get the special boxes 😠
Exactly so you know what I’m saying! I mean I get some GS too if I can’t get the adults (AJ1 Tokyo Silver for example) but for this shoe the differences are pretty noticeable. Often times there are differences between GS and Adults but many times are minor enough for me to gloss over, but this time around it was drastic for me enough to definitely NOT go with the GS one 😊 How’d your drop go?
Couldnt afford the 2014 drop. Got my hands on them now finally, was shocked i was able to pick them up due to every jordan being super super hyped for no reason lol vid out sooooon show love

That’s a good question. A technical one that I won’t be able to answer but I’m going to guess it has to do with how they treat the suede - don’t quote me on that cause I don’t know just guessing!

Those men's are crazy pink. Mine are not near that bad. tbh tho, the last pair of carmines had the exact same heel stitching as the gs size. and gs pairs always have a Wierd shape, as they are trying to make them look like the mens. Don't ever expect Jordan brand to be consistent or you'll be constantly disappointed. Also, carmine is not a color scheme, it's the name of the red used on the shoes
Yeah I definitely experience my fair share of disappointments haha. I usually go for adults anyway, it’s just when I can’t get my hands on adults (or if I’m less keen on a shoe) that I’ll go for GS. Maybe the lighting is affecting it cause in hand there’s no pink at all, it’s solid white
I remember Carmine from art school where we were taught it to be a color scheme “in the shades of red” (like the infamous Carmine Red colored Prismacolor) 😉

I see you had a little shade for the craftsmanship between GS and adult pairs. I ain't mad at you. They skimp out on that all the time. It leaves a lot of women with a lower quality shoe. I like the beige outfit with the shoes. Something a little different. Not everyone will be brave enough to step out in that combination. You pulled it off. You are giving me ideas for my fire red 4s. Threading on the GS sizes may have folks thinking they're UA at 1st. The irony would be Nike sending another pink colorway in exchange. Look#2 with the Jacket is fire. Look#3 is sweet.

Wow. I thought these were two drastically different shoe sizes. It's crazy that it's only a half size difference with so much variation. If it makes small feet gang feel better, smaller sizes and GS typically have way less occurrences of manufacturer defects.
You definitely stand out to me in the beige in a good way and I glad you wasn't one of the unfortunate ones to get a pink pair. If you did would you of still kept them?

The gs sizes are always different from the adult sizing. The gs sizes always a funky shape. Great video. You edit your videos yourself?

And here I thought the pink midsole was the only problem. These shoes are so inconsistent, I'm surprised they passed quality control

What is stopping the other pairs from bleeding and causing a pink midsole?
That’s a good question. A technical one that I won’t be able to answer but I’m going to guess it has to do with how they treat the suede - don’t quote me on that cause I don’t know just guessing!

Ah don’t be discouraged. If you can only get a certain size you should be happy with it. Just wanted to highlight the differences between the two. It’s a bummer they are so different but often times this is the case between GS and Adult pairs. Not all the time, but often...

Those men's are crazy pink. Mine are not near that bad. tbh tho, the last pair of carmines had the exact same heel stitching as the gs size. and gs pairs always have a Wierd shape, as they are trying to make them look like the mens. Don't ever expect Jordan brand to be consistent or you'll be constantly disappointed.
Also, carmine is not a color scheme, it's the name of the red used on the shoes
Yeah I definitely experience my fair share of disappointments haha. I usually go for adults anyway, it’s just when I can’t get my hands on adults (or if I’m less keen on a shoe) that I’ll go for GS. Maybe the lighting is affecting it cause in hand there’s no pink at all, it’s solid white
I remember Carmine from art school where we were taught it to be a color scheme “in the shades of red” (like the infamous Carmine Red colored Prismacolor) 😉
I still have my CDP Carmine from 2008 quality still on point 👍🏼

the cushion area stitching on top on the men pair is also really poor compared to the gs. they def both have their pros and cons imo
Fair yes! I usually like my GS pairs but for this one it wasn’t for me. But some can only fit into GS so...it’s all good!

I see you had a little shade for the craftsmanship between GS and adult pairs. I ain't mad at you. They skimp out on that all the time. It leaves a lot of women with a lower quality shoe. I like the beige outfit with the shoes. Something a little different. Not everyone will be brave enough to step out in that combination. You pulled it off. You are giving me ideas for my fire red 4s. Wow. I thought these were two drastically different shoe sizes. It's crazy that it's only a half size difference with so much variation. If it makes small feet gang feel better, smaller sizes and GS typically have way less occurrences of manufacturer defects.
