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

Shalamar is one of my favorite all-time singing groups. Killer lead locals backed by killed harmonies. Backed by a killer live stage show too at the time. One of the first r&b groups to incorporate hip hop dancing into their act too.

wonder when will she get around to doing Some Shalamar reactions. I thought "This is for the lover in you" would be the first,
but I love this one too. This group has a rich and varied history. Howard Hewett is the lead singer. Jody Watley and Jeffrey were
soul train dance partners in the seventies. Jeffrey taught Michael Jackson the backslide which Michael later named the moonwalk.
Jody Watley became a huge solo artist in the late eighties after leaving the group and so did Howard. They were one of the most
loved American acts in the UK at the time. They had many great hits and I'm sure you'll get around to more of them and no doubt
like them all.
Howard has had a great solo career and is still active. His ballads are delicious.
What is great about the brotha solo career? No gold and platinums, no awards, no crossover hits, no Top 10’s🤷🏿♂️No R&B hits, he only did good as lead singer of Shalamar. I went to see him and his Shalamar in Vegas this year
