    Great class Sir. I trolled 6 separate trips along the Frankfort Michigan shoreline - 4 hours per trip. I caught my first and only Brown Trout on the 6th trip...my 24th hour of trolling. Its really bleak for Browns over here. I do love shallow trolling. Your class paid off. Thanks very much.

    Love this idea! I have been searching forever for basic salmon trout videos and you are the first to put one out.

    Great Vedio Russell! The mini slide divers are fantastic. I wish I would have added them into my Brown trout arsonal sooner.

    How far from slide diver to lure? After you zero the reel how much on line counter.

      Steve o depends on what depth I’m in. If I’m in that 4ft-10ft then only 15ft or so behind the diver and 5-15ft on the counter line out. If I’m out in 20-40ft then I go 30ft behind the diver and 20-30ft line out on counter

    do you use lead core at all for browns? like 2 color? what about snap weights instead of keel sinker?

    • @fishme947
      @fishme947 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use 1 and 2 colors when you start getting out to the 15 to 20 ft depths

      1,2,3 colors work great if you already have them and ur going to fish 15ft or out

    Is there a big difference between quarter ounce in line Sinker and a half ounce sinker. In the amount of depth you get out of each.

      Steve o there is when fishing inside of 10ft you can let out a lot more line and get ur gear away from the boat with the 1/4 oz

      SalmonAAClinic I am sorry I am asking all these questions I troll for Brown's on the south shore of superior and I have wanted to try Michigan for years well 2 of my college buddies moved there for jobs and we planned a trip March 15th anyway do you try full flash fly combos at all I got a couple brown like here but idk how effective there are there. Up here I usually use pro kings and Michigan stingers. Some scatter raps mixed in
