You can't bake a rainbow cake using yellow cake mix, or with egg yoke, because the yellow interferes with the dyes. Buy white, like white white cake mix and only use the whites of the eggs next time

Regarding the cake, its probably the food colourings you used. Some of them are only good for dyeing fondant/frosting/icing. When baked it changes colour. Food colouring gel or paste (rather than liquid) would work best for next time. You only need to use a little bit and it wont alter the taste as much. Hoped this helped :)
Also what alters the colour of the cake is using egg yolk and butter as its better to have a white batter then yellow when using food colouring. Just use egg whites and shortening instead. :)
The white pug makes me miss Buddy. He looked just like her & was 14 when he was put down (from old age & nightly seizures & a huge blood clot in his forehead. Poor guy was suffering). I grew up with him & miss him dearly. This is why she spent 2 whole days 'working' because each episode consist of three challenges that take place over two days, and the filming takes up to 16 hours a day!!! (Look it up) (This also explains why she "randomly" decided to bake a Rainbow Cake. She was practicing for the show!!!!!) The real question is did she end up getting eliminated or not....? (The show will premiere on BBC Two on January 21, 2015) THUMBS UP SO PEOPLE WILL KNOW!!!?

The other owner of the other flats can use it as well. It's not like if you press Zoe's floor or anyone's you can just enter their flat. You'll still need keys. Plus if you watched yesterday's vlog, you'll see that Zoe has to buzz in her visitors.
