I enjoyed this teaching very much. My husband and I made poor choices in our younger years. We had plenty of stuff but no savings. We are now saved Christians and the Lord is helping us to learn about trusting in Him. I know that if we stay focused on Him that He will get us to a better place, amen. Thank you for this great teaching. It brought me a lot of hope.

Somewhere along the line, when I was a new Christian, I was told that we had to have a burden for the world. ie: unsaved people in general (especially missions) I was led to believe that if I didn't pray enough, some poor sinner would go to hell. That was a whole lot of stuff to lay on a young believer. Now I am glad I am free!!! Hahaha!!!
yah... that sounds like me, although not with money, same concept...we worry that our explanation didn't come across (when it really did) as we wanted it to and that we need to explain every detail...and if we do explain something right we worry that the other person didn't percieve it correctly or that we did explain something but that we forgot something and now are in deep trouble and that we have lost our chance UGH
This sermon made me laugh so much because it reminded me of me! Thank God for such enlightening sermons wrapped in good humor.
